OK so I need help brainstorming

I wanna do like a fantasy world and my character Juniper Laverne needs a companion. If you want you could read her description to get a better Idea of who she is, but basically shes this crazy weird yet extremely assertive girl that likes to believe in things that are weird and keeps high walls up (emotionally). Any ideas of a pet? I want it to complement her personality, so that people would see her pet and be like that makes total sense.

perhaps a raven that perches on her shoulder?

the raven could maybe keep her grounded and such
and since this is fantasy, the raven could talk and be like "No Juniper."

yeah that is a really good idea and i was thinking that she is kinda mysterious so that makes perfect sense
