"Kiibo, do you happen to know where your inventor is?" Rantaro asked softly. "If Miu did something to you, he could fix it. He made you…"

Rantaro nodded as he grabbed Kiibo's phone and called Professor Iidabashi. "Hey, Professor, this is Rantaro, Kiibo's boyfriend," he stated. "Something's wrong with Kiibo. Can I bring him to you?"
“ yes you can? Is he having any symptoms?”
"He's oddly tired, and he seems to be overheated as well," Rantaro told him. "Some idiot tried disassembling him earlier. Maybe she uploaded a virus or something? I dunno…"

Rantaro nodded. "Kiibs, I'm taking you to the professor, okay?"

Rantaro picked Kiibo up and carried him to Professor Iidabashi's lab.
"Professor?" Rantaro called softly. "I'm here…"
“ I'm over here!” he thrilled
Rantaro nodded and carried Kiibo to the professor. "Here. You can take a look at him now."
“ it is a virus, but I'm not sure where”
Rantaro nodded. "Take your time with this one, Professor."
“ I'm trying okay kid, I'm just as worried for my son as you are!”
"I…said take your time…? Really, there's no rush, Professor…" Rantaro sighed softly.

Rantaro nodded in understanding. "It's fine. Take your time."

Rantaro fell into silence after that, waiting for hours as the professor worked on Kiibo.
The professor eventually finished the work and went back to rantaro
Rantaro looked at him. "So, how's Kiibo?" he asked softly. "Is he okay?"

Rantaro nodded. "Is he okay enough to see me, recognize me, and remember our relationship?"
