At the holding cells, Valerie quietly signed a form for visitation for the two of them and they slipped in. “Arianna?” She called.

At the holding cells, Valerie quietly signed a form for visitation for the two of them and they slipped in. “Arianna?” She called.

“Ari?” Cato whispered. “Arianna, are you… are you alright?”

“What, I swear I’m awake.” Arianna muttered, sitting up, “Oh hey.”

“Hi. I am so, so sorry.”

“For what?” Arianna asked, tucking in a lock of hair, she swung her legs. The cell wasn’t as bad as she imagined.

“Um. Cursing a blade. Nothing. I will get you out of here. Subtly. And in a way that will note get us all executed,” Cato mumbled, feeling the hinges of the cell door. “These were not made by me, obviously. Just one good kick….”

“You can’t just bust her out! Then we’ll all be put on trial!” Valerie whispered.

“Okay, good point,” Cato mumbled. “Though its tempting.”

“Okay freeze the both of you, what?” Arianna asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

“Nothing, nothing,” Cato said, trying and failing to use a nonchalant tone. “How’re you?”

Arianna raised an eyebrow, “So why is this your fault?”

“Um. I may or may not have given Alexander a cured blade I found a few years back in the forge?” Cato mumbled, blushing red. “I’m sorry.”

Arianna looked at him and blinked. “Good bye,” she muttered, going to the far corner of the cell.

“No, no, no, here’s the thing. Do you have a trail?”
