Ireth took a deep breath. "Well, there was a girl lying on the ground, but I couldn't see her face. There were people and dragons surrounding her, but keeping their distance. I could tell that her arm was broken, and her leg was there but not, which I'm guessing means she loses it. Her hair was a long plait, but it had been severed off by what I assumed was a boulder. Then I realised that she was me."

Finn stiffened and understood the way Ireth seemed frightened. "Are you sure it was you?" Inside, he wondered if the girl in the vision had fallen somehow, and what would have had to have happened to the girl's dragon in order for her to fall at all.

Ireth nodded shakily. "Yeah, it was. Even though I couldn't see the face, I could tell it was me. The hair, the body shape, the way she was positioned…There's no doubt about it. And I would only be in pain if it was me, so it had to be."

@BrennaKadavsky

He stiffened when she said she was in pain. "The vision really hurt you?" And how can you treat a ghost wound like that… He thought, watching her closely.

Ireth nodded again. "I know it's ghost pain and that it will stop hurting soon, but this pain is worse than it has been before."

@BrennaKadavsky

"How often have you gotten it?" Despite the looks he was getting from her parents, he had questions and he wanted answers. He was staying, and he was almost as worried about Ireth as her parents were. Almost.

"This is the first time I've had this vision, and yet it's never hurt so much," Ireth said, looking at her parents with worried eyes. "I think something bad is going to happen. And I'm at the centre of it."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn looked over at her parents, noting the worry on their faces. "There has to be something we can do to prevent it, if we know it's coming." He tried to ignore the slightly annoyed looks on her parent's faces, and started mentally counting all of their friends he could recruit to help protect Ireth.

"Sweetie, are you sure your vision was as bad as it looked?" Astrid asked. "You know that a similar situation happened to your father and he's fine now."
"We can't just rule out what she saw though, Astrid," Hiccup interjected. "Her visions have never been wrong before, so we need to trust them."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn drew back, letting her parents question her. He slipped out of the house and into the sun, heading for the stable area and his dragon.

Ireth spoke with her parents, debates going back and forth. After a short while, the pain faded away. As Astrid and Hiccup because distracted with a small argument, she slipped out to see Silvernose.

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn was in the stables with the two dragons, hauling out buckets of fish and water for the night. He talked to them softly and just keeping them calm.

Silvernose let out a dragon purring sound when she saw Ireth approaching. "Hey, Silvy," The viking girl said, stroking to the Stormcutter's head softly. "Sorry about that scare, girl."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn set down a bucket of water. "Feel better?" He walked over and stood next to Ireth..

Ireth nodded. "Yeah," She said softly. "The pain went away and I snuck out while my parents were arguing over what to do about my vision."

@BrennaKadavsky

(Ahhh I'm so sorry I completely lost this)

Finn nodded, his face and eyes filled with concern. "Are you worried?" The question was gentle, as he didn't want to bother her any further. She'd had enough questions from her parents.

Ireth thought about the question, then shrugged. "I guess. I mean, wouldn't you? But I've seen so many visions that end in something bad that I'm used to it."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn nodded, reaching out to stroke Asta. "Have the bad things always come true?" He searched his memory for other vision that had shaken Ireth, and how many times she'd been hurt in the last years.

Ireth took a shaky breath, but hoped it wasn't noticable."Yeah, always." She stroked Silvernose's nose. "Most of the time, they haven't happened to me though."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn nodded, moving to grab a bucket of fish and place it in front of Silvernose. The dragons were hungry, as always.

Ireth's breath remained slightly shaky. "a few visions have been about you though," She said softly.

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn stiffened, his back to Ireth. He turned slowly putting down the bucket. "They… what were they?" It was barely a whisper. He was afraid of what she would say, but now a part of him needed to know.

Ireth shook her head. "I shouldn't tell you. It's… Not really my place. Some of them came true. Some of them haven't happened yet."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn's eyebrows went up, and he tried not to be surprised. Visions of him, that he hadn't known about, had come true? And no one had ever thought to tell him? "And I never knew about them." He did his best not to accuse her, but a part of him thought she was guilty.

"To be fair, I haven't told anyone about them," Ireth replied, picking up a large drumstick and feeding it to Silvernose. "Some of them involve me… So I haven't had the courage to speak up about them."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn cocked his head at her. Ireth had always seemed the most confident person in the world to him. "Have you had these visions all your life?"

"Um, as long as I can remember. I don't know if I has them when I was a kid, but as far back as I can remember I've been having them. I knew about you long before I actually met you because of them."

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn lifted his gaze to meet hers. "And… how much do you know of the future?" He kept his voice steady as he scratched lines in the straw with the heel of his boot.

Ireth was hesitant. "I… I dont know if you want to hear that." In reality, she'd seen her whole life at intervals in her dreams, all of it involving Finn in some way.

@BrennaKadavsky

Finn took a step towards her. "I do. You shouldn't be dealing with the future by yourself." Inside, he was equal parts worried about her, and afraid of what she would say. But part of him needed to know.
