Doctor Who RP anyone?

I just,,, I need this. I will probably be playing the Doctor in this. Rules are as follows:

Swearing, violence, and dark humor are fine.
Don’t be a jerk or overly edgy.
No one liners. At least three sentences excluding dialogue.
Diversity is cool! But be respectful.
Don’t be overpowered or overly controlling.
Have fun!

We can discuss which era and whether we will be using companions or OCs.

(Also, which Doctor to use? I really liked 8 and alt!9 but that is just because I'm very into extended/alternate universe stuff. I also enjoyed canon!9 and 13 but not as much.)

(oh wait when you say race do you mean like aliens? Because those are fine I just thought you were talking like, earth ethnicities and stuff.)

(Yeah I was talking about alien races, but I might just keep it to the normal human. As for which Doctor, it's been a while since I've seen any episodes, so it's ultimately up to you. (But I think I like 9 best, out of the ones you've said.))

(Do you have a favorite? I can pick a different one, those are just the ones I've written fanfic about and know how to characterize best.)

(SO! PLOT! Me neither. Each companion has his/her relation to something grand that happens in the journey, correct? That's… all I got. The possibilities of what are numerous and limited all at once.)

(Okay so I have an alien species that can do fucked up things to people via mind control that I kinda wanna use? What if they'd taken over the city or something and nobody even noticed. They give off an aura of fear wherever they go, enough to paralyze. They've been there for weeks and nobody has done anything about it, and the Doctor ends up landing there to help out.)

(Ooh! Yes! And maybe my character is immune to it (for an unknown reason?))

(Or maybe only partially immune to the mind-control portion?)
