“Hogwarts is beautiful isn’t it” He said in aw
Harry Potter role play
Scipio nodded. “I have never seen it in person before; only in photographs.”
"Same, but I've also seen it in books." Zyra mumbled, looking at the castle in awe.
They soon arrived at the castle and got out of the boats. Luckily, no one had fallen into the lake.
Zyra got out of the boat and followed Hagrid into the castle, still looking awed.
Melissa's legs wobbled. Bellatrix had tried to hit her with Stupefy as they were crossing the lake. Luckily, she missed. She followed Zyra and Scipio closely at they approached the grand doors.
(Do you mind if I'm McGonagall, Rocky?)
(Sure)
Hagrid approached the door and knocked three times. After a split second, the doors swung open to reveal the professor Lydia had told Melissa so much about. "Here's the firs' years, Professor McGonagall," Hagrid said.
"Thank you, Hagrid, I will take them from here." Without another word, she turned and walked into the castle. Several first years began to follow, causing the rest to do so as well.
Melissa was once again caught up in the crowd.
Scipio followed in silence, having brought himself back to a neutral emotional state after seeing the castle in person for the first time. For now, he looked emotionless and almost a bit distant.
“ scipio are you okay”
"Hmm? Oh, yes. I am fine. Just waiting for the sorting ceremony and what not."
Aza hovered behind Scipio, still not sure where to go.
Professor McGonagall turned around to face the group once they were all inside. "Welcome to Hogwarts," she began. "In a few moments, you will enter the Great Hall and be sorted into one of the four Houses here. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. While you are here, your House will be like your family. If you preform well, you will earn points for your House. Preform poorly, and you will loose points. The House with the most points at the end of the year will be awarded the House Cup."
Zyra didn't really pay that much attention since she already knew most of this but wanted to look as if she has paying attention she didn't want to be called out on it.
Melissa knew all of this too, but she was interested in the words coming out of the professor's mouth.
"While you are here, your House will be like your family. You will eat with your House, have classes with your House, and relax in your House dormitories," Professor McGonagall continued.
Scipio nodded a bit to himself. He knew of Slytherin's reputation, and his likelihood of joining the house being high. Hopefully he could use the spells he knew to command respect from his classmates so he didn't get bothered too much by people who underestimated him. (The second year from the train's prolly gonna return btw)
Aza listened intently, although she knew all of this already.
Eventually, Professor McGonagall turned and lead them all into the Great Hall. Melissa followed and looked at her shoes when people from the higher years watched them.
Aza kept her chin up, meeting the gazes of some of the higher years defiantly.
(Guys I can't be the only one trying to keep this alive)
McGonagall started calling students up in alphabetical order until she got to Azalane.
Aza stepped up to the podium and sat on the chair, mentally hoping for Ravenclaw.
(I don’t control McGonagall but i guess I will now)
“Ravenclaw!” The hat shouted after a few seconds of thinking. The Ravenclaw table started clapping and cheering.
Aza grinned and walked over to the Ravenclaw's table excitedly.
(Shoot idk)
After a couple people, Zyra’s name was called
(I'm sorry for being off so much this weekend, I literally had no free time!)
Melissa waited nervously for her name to be called.
(We can say Melissa gets called if you want since Zyra’s not here. This sorting system through role play is wildly inconvenient…)
(Yeah, lol)
Melissa heard whispers break out all over the hall when her surname was mentioned. She trembled as Professor McGonagall lowered the hat onto her head. Not Gryffindor, please. Just put me into Slytherin.
"Slytherin, you're sure?" the Hat replied silkily.
Please, don't put me into Gryffindor.
"You'd make a fine fit in Hufflepuff if you'd like it, no doubt… Or Ravenclaw…"
Slytherin.
The longer the Hat drew out her choice, the more she could hear people talking beyond the darkness.
"SLYTHERIN!" the Hat announced.
Melissa felt the Hat lift, and she hurried quickly to the Slytherin table and sat down, looking at her lap shyly.
Scipio clapped along with the Slytherin house, even though he hadn’t been sorted yet. He got called up eventually and sat down on the stool as he hat was placed on his head.
”Interesting… you seem to already know where you should be.”
Of course I do. Ravenclaws are petty, Gryffindors are twats, and Hufflepuffs are weak. Let’s not draw this out, shall we?
”Alright. I guess it’ll have to be… “SLYTHERIN!” The hat finished aloud. The Slytherin table clapped and Scipio went to join them.
(Can we just say everyone got sorted so we can move on)
(Sorry about that, my phone was in my locker)
