Pietro picked up his phone, juggled it for a few seconds, and hit the speed-dial number that just so happened to belong to his sister. “Hello, Eve. You redoing makeup?”

"Makeup? No, I'm-" She paused to narrow her eyes before speaking again. "You forgot. Didn't you?"
“Whaaattt?” Pietro said, speeding up his walk home. “Um…. noooooo…… what was i forgetting?”
"You tell me," Evie replied.
“Well, I asked you first,” Pietro countered. He was mentally running through dates: birthday, some sort of anniversary…. um….
"You forgot," Evie accused.
“Nope, but if you are quizzing me, I can quiz you. Now, what was I supposed to remember?” Pietro said, jogging a bit faster.
"Just tell me that you forgot."
“Forgot what?” Pietro said demurely. Its not Christmas….
"I hate liars, Pietro," Evie chastised.
“Who says I’m lying?” Pietro argued.
"Just tell me what is going on today and I'll apologize!" Evie challenged.
