"Welcome to the TARDIS! She's my ship, my friend, my home. She'll take us just about anywhere, except Gallifrey unless it's an emergency." he said. Seni groaned, not this again. She hadn't been able to stop him picking up an idiot human the last time, but maybe she could save this one…

"I'll plot a course. Seni, give our friend here the grand tour!" he smiled.

@Simon-Says

Olivia's smile faded a bit. She knew Seni didn't like her, for whatever reason. She tried to hide her anxiety over taking a tour with her. "Okay, wait. Your ship can go to other planets? where are we going? Pluto? I hear it's only about the size of Russia. That'd be cool. But there aren't any people, so maybe not. How long does it take to get places? I thought it took several months just to reach Mars. My mum's gonna get worried if I'm gone too long," she explained before pinching the bridge of her nose, frustrated at herself. "Sorry, sorry. I can't seem to shut up today."

"Oh, Mars? Lovely place, wonderful people. Well, somewhat violent people, but they're honourable enough." the Doctor said. "Oh, don't start! The Ice Warriors are morally neutral, don't argue with yourself pointlessly for several hours until you pass out, okay? We've settled this!" Seni snapped.

@Simon-Says

"Right. So. Ok-I'm-sorry-but-I-have-to-ask," she said quickly, "where are we actually going? And - wait did you say there are actual PEOPLE on Mars? Oh, gods, this doesn't make sense," she said incredulously.

"It usually doesn't, don't worry. This is perfectly normal. We may end up on Mars, probably somewhere with a breathable atmosphere. Most planets I've seen have them, now off we go!" he said, and a whooshing, groaning noise filled the ship.

@Simon-Says

"What the hell is that? Why does it make that noise? It did that when you landed as well. What is it?" Olivia fired off walking around the control panels.

"Oh, it just does that when she takes off." he explained. "No need to worry at all!"

@Simon-Says

"Alright, then," Olivia said dubiously, though she didn't stop walking around the control panels, not touching anything but looking intently.

"Want to try piloting her?" he asked, gesturing to the console.

@Simon-Says

Olivia almost tripped in her haste to back up. "N - no, no, thanks. I don't want to crash-land on some wasteland or - or - no, no, thanks."

"Don't worry! I'll put on the safeguards for beginners, and I'll show you how to pilot the old girl each step of the way. I'm sure she wouldn't mind!" the Doctor said. "I would. Let's not get ourselves killed, Doctor." Seni rolled her eyes.

@Simon-Says

"She's - she's right, I really don't think that this is the best idea, and I don't really - I'm not - " she broke off, at a loss for words.

"Well that's alright. Let me know if your opinion changes, it's been ages since I've really gotten around to teaching a friend the ropes, and Seni's been boring since she just figured it out all alone. Never mind!" he said, giggling in a way so adorable you couldn't help but feel fuzzy inside, like you were getting to know a new puppy.

@Simon-Says

Olivia giggled quietly. "You're weird. I think I'm going to like you," she said, as if stating the obvious. She didn't really understand anything that was going on, but she figured you didn't always have to understand everything. Not everything had a logical, normal explanation.

"If I'm weird then you are too. I'm not even human," he said. "except for the ears." he grinned, wiggling said hearing appendages.

@Simon-Says

Olivia scoffed in mock offense. "I think not being human makes you just a tad weirder than me."

"That's incredibly human-normative!" the Doctor scolded, but he sounded more playful than upset.

@Simon-Says

"Okay, I know you have this whole magic-box-time-and-space-travelling-oh-yay-other-species-thing, but humans ARE the norm on Earth, and seeing as I've literally never been anywhere else, I think my being human-normative makes sense," Olivia, said, crossing her arms defiantly.

"Well, you're one tiny planet. In one tiny galaxy. In one gigantic universe. So excuse him for feeling you're something about narrow-minded." Seni rolled her eyes.

@Simon-Says

"Please, don't tell me what to do," she said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "I have a right to my admittedly little knowledge, and would appreciate for you to respect that."

"Whatever, not as if I care much about your ignorance. Go ahead and get beat up by a member of the Bane for misunderstanding a simple greeting ritual." Seni examined her nails, sarcasm dripping like venom. "Now now, Seni, no need to be… uh, salty. People still say salty, right? Anyways, you should be nice, we're going to land soon."

@Simon-Says

Olivia hid her face. "I'm going to die. This was a bad idea. I should leave. Am I going to get sucked into the vacuum of space if I open that door?" She asked, pointing to the doors of the Tardis. Then she shook her head as if to clear it. "You know what, I don't even care, I'll just go either way," she decided, walking over to the door.

"Noooo!! No, Olivia, Olivia, Olivia! Don't do that! You really shouldn't look into the vortex, open those doors and well, you may well go mad. Humans aren't time-sensitive like my species, and even then…" the Doctor ran and pulled Olivia back gently. "It'd be funny to watch though, admit it." Seni gave the most shit-eating from you'd ever seen.

@Simon-Says

Olivia groaned, leaning backwards to fall on the floor. "I regret literally every decision I've ever made. Including this one. My head hurts."

"We've landed, Doctor. Breathable atmosphere, but it's got slightly higher levels of radiation than usual. We probably shouldn't be around outside for more than a few hours. It's a wasteland, but there's signs of a colony not far off, approximately six-point-four kilometers away, or four miles in United States customary units." Seni said. The Doctor opened the doors, and it really was a wasteland, barren, with whistling winds and no signs of life anywhere at all. The sky was blackened, and metal debris was scattered on the horizon.

@Simon-Says

"Oh, that's fun. Well, I think I've seen everything, time to go home now," Olivia said, freezing in her tracks and laughing nervously and loudly for far too long before abruptly cutting herself off. Why did I do this? Why did I insist on doing this? Am I stupid? Well, obviously I'm stupid, but I never thought I was this stupid.

"Wimp. I'm going out." Seni strode through the doors. The Doctor shrugged, walking out and looking around.

@Simon-Says

Olivia let out a tell if rage, quickly stifling it by biting into her fist. "Please," she growled, "do not call me a wimp. You've clearly been doing this for ages, and I literally got on this ship 20 minutes ago. It's wonderful that you're confident in yourself, but your confidence doesn't have to degrade mine."

"Hypocrite say what?" Seni mocked, but it was the Doctor who responded first with a confused "What?" (Foreshadoooooowwwwiiiiiinnnnnngggggg!)

Seni rolled her eyes and kicked at a piece of debris. "It's metal." she said sourly, putting pressure on her now stubbed toe to help alleviate the pain.

@Simon-Says

"Fascinating," Olivia replied sarcastically with her arms crossed. It 's a good thing that I'm going home after this. She's like an internet troll but I can't block her, she thought, rolling her eyes.
