SO the basic premise of the RP is that Pit(and Dark Pit maybe?) has been cursed to live as slightly-enhanced humans by Hades when he inevitably returns. Palutena has been taken captive in the underworld and the natural balance has been thrown way off course. With the help of other humans and one particularly prickly nature goddess, our hero(es?) set out to set things right and rescue the Goddess of Light.

Rules:

• Since there's bound to be fighting, blood and violence are alright. Don't go crazy graphic and gory, though.
• Swearing is also fine, but again don't go overboard.
• Romance will definitely be allowed, but keep it SFW. On that topic, and I say this because the Kid Icarus fandom tends to be a little wild, there will be no Pitcest(PitXDark Pit) because they're basically twins and that just sets off a ton of alarms and we're gonna leave it at that before I go on a rant. It does not spark joy for me, so I'm keeping it out of my RP.
• You can have multiple characters, but I'm gonna cap it at four so things aren't too crazy.
• If you want your character to have some special relationship with another character(siblings, friends, romance, etc.), discuss it with them first.

Appearance: Take a boy, cover him in rocks. Most of the rocks obscure his actual features, but he is clearly muscular in some regard. Red eyes peer out from stony armor (red as in entirely red, no iris, no pupil, just bright red)
Personality: Doesn't speak much, is very defensive when people find out about his parentage. Loves fighting and throwing rocks, sent in with the front lines with his dad whenever the Forces of Nature go on the offensive.
Weapon(s): Large battleaxe gifted to him by his mother, made from wrought redwood trees and condensed green peridotite. Left hand is a black basalt cudgel like his father's.
Other: Can move and shape stone at will, the limits of which haven't been seen by any mortal (Can move two hundred thousand cubic feet of rock at once, but it requires a lot of focus and concentration. Only ever done in emergencies). Has no butt weakpoint and faster than his father. High-ranking general within the Forces of Nature, on par with Phosphora and Arlon the Serene. Despite his limited vocabulary, he is actually very tactically minded when the situation calls for it. However, he usually calls the situation, and that situation revolves around charging headlong into enemy forces and cracking skulls, more often than not.

Honestly, aging and whatnot don't really matter as long as the characters act as they usually do. I made up a new one because I didn't have time to go back through the source material, though I think it would be funny if Viridi looked more mature than she actually does when speaking to everyone that doesn't know her personally. It'd at least keep up a sort of "ruse" where Monadnock's mom actually looked like a mom and not some sort of sassy lost child.

I also want Cragalanche's big goofy rock body to only be his usual form, and whenever he needs to look fancy, he'll have a sculptor come around and make him look like a goddamn Pillar Man.

Personality: Just…Pit. The same cinnamon roll that we all know and love.
Weapon(s): Palutena Bow(Dark Pit got it back to him)
Other: Because Hades' curse didn't completely strip Pit of all of his divine-creation abilities, he still retains a few of them. Obviously he doesn't have wings anymore, but has a higher healing rate than normal mortals, especially if he's eaten recently. He can also still communicate with the gods through his laurel crown and use his bow the same way, but that's about it.

Again, feel free to make other OCs, the more the merrier lol.

Are Pit and Dark Pit going to be stranded together?
As far as modern clothing for Dark Pit, I'd say he poetically favors hoodies as well, but pretty much only dark colors. He'd probably wear jeans as well but like, ripped black skinny jeans because he's edgy

It would definitely make sense(considering what happened when Pit was turned into a ring), but it's up to you whether or not he's been affected in the full capacity that Pit has.
And yeah that makes sense lol, I was planning on having Kit find Pit and let him stay at their house(before they knew the situation) and borrow their clothes. Kit's wardrobe is like 80% hoodies, tee-shirts, and ripped jeans so it works out.

I mean, they've kind of got more pressing matters to tend to, but considering that I was planning on setting this in the fall, they might lol. My idea was that Kit tries to hide Pit and DP from her dad(their mom's not really around a lot) but has to go to school anyways, and hijinks happen with the two and pretty soon their dad finds out and is like??? Why are there two random boys in your bedroom??? And they try to explain it but it turns out Kit's dad is actually pretty chill and(after they prove that they're not just random homeless kids) lets Pit and DP stay.

The only problem is that it doesn't let Monadnock show up? But I had an idea earlier(it's honestly a lot of a stretch and doesn't work with the age you set up for him but I'm putting it out there anyway) that maybe he could have some of that Mist-glamour stuff make him appear to be a normal kid that goes to Kit's school. The question would be why would Viridi send him to a human school, though. I had thought maybe to just kind of keep an eye on things, but other than being a decent sized city, there's not much of note there. And he's not my character, so I don't want to try and change him into something you didn't intend him to be in the first place.

I'm personally not a fan of the school thing, mostly because there would be no reason for Pit and Pittoo to go, either. Wouldn't there be tutors in Angel Land? What about all of the Centurions, surely some of them at least know their arithmetic?

I mean Pit can't read anyway, so it's safe to assume that he didn't exactly get the best schooling up in Skyworld. But yeah, I think it would be better if they didn't go to school. And I had another idea that's definitely better than the first lol. What if Viridi's like "Okay I hate to say it but we need to get Palutena back to fix this and we're also gonna need those stupid angels" and has Monadnock go to get them since they can't really be magic-teleported bc of the curse?

Yeah. Will Dark Pit need an alias? Pit could probably go by his real name, but Dark Pit kinda couldn't lol. Pittoo isn't exactly a normal person name either. Do you think he'd come up with a fake name or just not care?

I also don't think this would work in a modern setting, primarily because if Viridi saw the world as it currently is, she would have Reset Bomb'd the shit out of it decades ago.

Sorry I dipped for a whole day, something popped up. But it gave me time to think! And since I kind of got attached to the modern au idea, I came up with an excuse explanation that also accounts for some other stuff that I'm planning. Basically, the gods' powers are directly proportional to humans believing in them in some form. There was a period of time(long ago) where they were almost forgotten for whatever reason(still haven't come up with a reason for that one, but I will) and thus were extremely weakened. Certain gods are less affected by this rule, but Viridi wasn't one of them. She still hates humans, of course, but holds back the Reset Bombs for the most part(but natural disasters aren't totally off the table, like earthquakes out of nowhere or flash floods or plagues every century).

Does that make sense? It made sense to me, but sometimes I'm not exactly the best at explaining my ideas lol

If we are going modern, then it will have to be a modern version of the KI world and not really analogous to Earth. You've got a few big cities, lots of smaller city-states, and humans have probably figured out electricity in some capacity, much to Phosphora's dismay. You could say that the gods were weakened after the end of KI:U because Hades was dead and people suddenly realized that he was the one that caused the War of the Wish Seed, and so they said "Screw this! The gods clearly don't have our best interests at heart if they let so many people die!" You could potentially have a lot of minor gods come into play when the humans start believing in something else, and even the Aurum might come back since they were lured by humanity's reliance on the sciences and technology.

I had thought that the KI world was just "past Earth but the gods are real"? Not that it really matters, since we'd be RPing in a made up place anyway. Technologically, I had been thinking it would be like current times–Internet, smartphones, cars, stuff like that all exist. I definitely like what you suggested for the reason why people stopped worshipping the gods, and I was actually intending to have more gods come into play like you said. The Aurum is definitely a good idea, especially since science and technology have advanced so much since then.
