Kaito sighed softly as he approached Kiibo's dorm. He was going to meet up with him since he needed some help with most of his classes. He wasn't looking forward to it, but at least Kiibo was nice, so he wouldn't mind it all that much. Besides, maybe he could turn it into something a bit more fun. He wouldn't mind hanging out with a friend.

Once he got to the other's dorm, he softly knocked on the door. He sighed softly as he waited, really not looking forward to much of this, but he was sure that things would get better. Besides, becoming friends with Kiibo would be nice, at least in his mind. He really did enjoy making new friends, after all, so he would definitely have fun talking to the other when it wasn't related to school.

Kiibo opened his door, tired eyes and grease smeared on his face
"Oh! Hi Kaito.." he mumbled tiredly as he let the other into his room.

Kaito was a bit concerned when he realized how tired Kiibo seemed to be. He knew that the other could get pretty busy with his projects, but to completely ignore his needs? It was like he was dealing with Shuichi again, as his best friend also had a habit of getting so invested in his work and projects that he would completely forget to take care of himself. Now that he was with someone, he didn't do it as much, so he didn't have to worry much about him, but it seemed like he did need to be concerned about Kiibo.

"Okay…never mind what I came here for. You need to sleep," he stated as he entered the room. "You look like you haven't slept in days…"

"I'll be fine Kaito, please, what did you need?"

Kaito sighed softly as he shook his head at the comment. He didn't understand how Kiibo could be completely ignoring his current condition when it was incredibly obvious that he was completely exhausted at the time. He was worried by how he completely dismissed it, but he was more than willing to argue with him until he finally decided that he was going to get some rest. He really did need to.

"I needed help with some stuff for school, but it seems like you need some help with self care," he responded. "Please, you really need to sleep… You're exhausted, and I can tell that you haven't slept in at least a couple of days…"

"Kaito.." Kiibo warned, yawning in the process. " I'm fine, what subject?"

Kaito shook his head again when Kiibo said that he was fine. He knew that he wasn't, and he was stubborn enough to keep arguing until he eventually gave in, listened to him, and got some sleep. No matter what it would take, he wasn't going to leave until Kiibo got some sleep.

"You are not fine," he responded sternly. "You need to get some sleep before you collapse from exhaustion. Please, this has happened to Shuichi before, so I can tell when people are reaching their limit. Just listen to me. I'm going to argue until you do."

"youd have to hold me down right now to get me to sleep"

If Kiibo thought that his comment would finally make Kaito give up, he was certainly wrong. He quickly picked the smaller male up and carried him over to his bed before he laid down with him. As strange as it felt, he just kept him close. If it meant that he would sleep, then it was worth it. He could deal with the resulting sexuality crisis later.

Kiibo flushed brightly "Kai!" He yelped softly

Kaito didn't seem to respond to how Kiibo had flushed brightly at his actions. He knew that they must have caught him off guard, as he likely wasn't expecting him to actually pick him up and carry him to bed, but as long as it meant that he would sleep, then it would be fine. He just wanted the other to take care of himself, continuing to ignore the sexuality crisis that was going on in his mind.

"Now sleep," he told him softly. "I don't think you can argue with me anymore."

Kaito could only chuckle at the random insult from Kiibo, as it was clear that he was annoyed, but at least he was finally giving in. Both of them could be stubborn, but someone finally gave in, and Kaito ended up being victorious, so it all worked out in the end. Now all he really had to do was keep Kiibo close and make sure that he slept.

"That's fine by me," he responded softly. "As long as you sleep, it's fine."

Kiibo started to sigh which turned into a yawn. He mumbled something before dowsing off.

After Kiibo fell asleep, Kaito found himself deep in his thoughts, finally having to confront that random sexuality crisis. He didn't think that what he was doing was necessarily gay, as friends could cuddle and all that, but he kept questioning how he felt about Kiibo as well. He really didn't know how he felt about him at the time, truly wondering about who he was attracted to.

Kiibo slowly nestled closer, tucking his head under Kaito's "warm.." he mumbled in his sleep.

Kaito smiled softly when Kiibo nestled closer to him, although he couldn't fully determine why he was happy due to that. Either way, he just kept the smaller male close to him, hoping that he would sleep for a while and wake up feeling at least somewhat refreshed. As long as he felt better after getting some sleep, it'd be okay.

Kiibo only slept a few more hours, soon waking up and realizing where he was "hah?!"

Kaito had fallen asleep by the time that Kiibo woke up, as he ended up getting lost in his thoughts until he completely dozed off, but he woke up a couple of moments later. He seemed to be a bit surprised when he saw Kiibo next to him, but then he remembered that he had to have him close just to get him to sleep. He then looked at the other, noticing that he was awake.

"You're awake now," he stated softly. "Did you sleep well?"

"how- i- never mind.. what do you need??" He asked softly

Kaito sighed softly when Kiibo asked about what he needed. Honestly, he didn't even care about all of the stuff he needed help on at the time, and he wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to have the other help him. He didn't know if he had the energy for it, and he was still prioritizing his needs over anything else.

"It's fine, really," he responded softly. "I need to make sure that you're okay now."

"I just slept for gawd knows how long, ruined my schedule and I'm not late of two projects. I promise I'm fine."

Kaito just shook his head at the comment, as it was clear that Kiibo was far from fine. He seemed to be incredibly stressed out, and while he felt bad about how making him sleep seemed to mess up his schedule, it was for the best. He still needed to take care of himself.

"Ask for help, then," he responded. "You're putting too much pressure onto yourself and not giving yourself any time to even take care of yourself. Ask for help, don't be as strict with your deadlines, and make sure your schedule involves eating and sleeping."

Kaito sighed softly as he heard Kiibo's comment. He sounded so much like Shuichi that it concerned him. He still remembered watching his best friend constantly suffer due to stress and never taking time to care for himself, and he didn't want someone else to go through all of that. No matter how much arguing it would take, he wouldn't leave until Kiibo agreed to take care of himself.

"Kiibo, even people with incredible power and intelligence need to take time for themselves, and so do you," he responded softly. "You're still a human being with needs, and if you don't take care of them yourself, I will force you to take care of them. I'm not having the stress get to you until you're wasting away and want to die, your body failing you from the lack of care and your mind a mess from all of the pressure. I've already seen it happen to Shuichi, and I'm not letting it happen to you…!"

"Shu is doing just fine.. hell he's one of the people that surprisingly looks up to me and expects the best. "

Kaito shook his head at the comment, as he knew that Shuichi wouldn't put so much pressure onto anyone after having so much put onto himself. He then realized that a lot of it must have been in Kiibo's head, that he had always had so high of expectations put onto him by someone until he felt like they were there and enforced by everyone, even if they weren't. That concerned him, but he could help him.

"Shu doesn't think like that, though," he responded. "Not everyone's putting pressure onto you. Aside from some teachers, it seems like most of the pressure is coming from you. Please, everyone will be fine if you take a break. Take care of yourself, please!"

Kiibo looked over at kaito, a little teary-eyed. “Fine.”

Kaito sighed in relief when Kiibo finally agreed to take care of himself for once, as he knew that he really needed to. He had been rather worried about him when he saw how exhausted he was, but at least that was going to change soon. It would likely be difficult for him at first, but he was going to help him if he needed to.

"Finally, you listen to me. You need to make sure that you eat and sleep, okay?" he asked softly. "Really, you need to do that…"
