Kami watched as Aizawa came in, but it let his attention slip and give dabi the opportunity to blast kami into the wall

Kiri was angry when he witnessed that, but he did nothing in terms of attacking Dabi back since he was focused on Kami. "Kami!" he exclaimed. "Are you okay?"
Kami tried to hold a thumbs up, catching his breath
Kiri sighed as he watched the other. "Take a moment to catch your breath…"
Kami didn't get the change before dabi was back after him
Kiri growled at Dabi as he hardened himself again, prepared to take the attack so it wouldn't hit Kami.
Kami looked up “eijiro move!” he yelled and shot lighting into dabi
Kiri shook his head. "I'm not letting him hit you again! If he tries, he's gonna hit me, not you!"
“ move or you could get hurt, I've built up to much!”
Kiri sighed. "Fine, but if that idiot tries to attack you again, I'm not gonna let him!" he told Kami as he moved.
Kami focused his energy and let off a crackling blast. The loud bang of thunder roared seconds after and the smell of singed fabric. Kami had missed but on purpose. It was enough to scare the shit out of the league

However, despite that, the fight continued. They seemed determined to kill the group off, though the group was going to fight back until they were victorious.
Kami staggered a moment, before going back to fighting
Kiri kept an eye on Kami, wanting to make sure that the other was okay.
Kami was starting to stumble more often, his quirks backlash affecting him and dabi knew it
Kiri eventually decided that he'd get involved, hardening himself as he pushed Kami out of the way of an attack.
Kami yelped, griping onto kiri “ we can take much more of this! We're all tired!”
Kiri shook his head. "I'm not baking down until I know that you're not gonna be hurt"!
“ Kirishima! Back. Down!”
Kiri shook his head. "No! Not until you're safe!"
“ kiri.. Please” kami begged
Kiri refused to back down. "You need to get out of here…! Then I will!"
Kami nodded and raced through the open field
Kiri watched as Kami left, and he left as soon as he knew that the other was safe.
Kami was hoping kiri would get out of there
Kiri managed to escape, though barely. "Kami!" he exclaimed once he got to the other. "Are you okay?
“ I'm fine Kirishima,” he said softly. Kami was a bit different at the moment having gaps in his memory from using so much energy
Kiri sighed softly. "Are you okay, really?" he asked. "Something seems wrong here, and I'm not sure what it is, but I'm worried…"
“ I'm fine Kirishima? I'm just glad I was there to help fight off the villains..”
Kiri nodded. "I'm glad that you were there, too, but you used a lot of your energy, so I'm worried."
