"What do you mean Letumosis?! He can't have Letumosis. He's the emperor and-" Kai starts.
Celeste cuts him off, "Kai, I ran a test and everything. He has it, the plague." Shaking his head Kai sits there in disbelief.
"No, no, no, NO!" He shouts. Celeste then walks over to him, kneels down, then hugs him.
"I'm sorry," She whispers.
Letting go she walks away and out of the room. I don't care if I'm an android, that felt… real.

"Now, sweet," Corvin gestures to the woman with his free hand. "Go to the bedroom and shut the door." The woman, sobbing the whole way, complies.
Corvin turns to his target and lifts his gun. “I believe you know why I’m here.” The man falls back onto the ratty couch in fear, mouth open in surprise.
"I-I…I'm afraid I don't. Who are you?"

(Good - it's hard not to make it dark, though. I'm trying to keep to the feel/atmosphere of the books.)
(Ya, it could get pretty dark….)

(I'm not familiar with the stories, but I like this story XD)
(Pay no attention, I'm just a lowly stalker.)
Celeste looks over to the next member and motions them to come forward. Why are they forcing us to do this? She scans the member.
No sickness
None of these people have the plague. And besides, the emperor could've gotten it from anywhere… right? She goes threw a few more people and still nothing. Just cause the emperor is sick doesn't mean we should have to scan every person in this building. She goes threw a few more. I mean like it would be rare if someone here got the plague. And it would defiantly be rare if a…… She freezes. No. It can't be. The member she scanned smiles.
They're lunar.

(I like the idea that was presented in the books of lunars escaping to earth and going undercover; you'll possibly never know where you'll come across them, if you even notice that you do.)
Corvin slightly grips the handle of his gun tighter. Every now and then someone would try to hire him for "hate-assassinations," but he would rarely accept those missions…unless of course he could name his price.
"Do you owe Karvan Kar over a thousand units?"
"I-" The man raises his hands higher. "I don't even know who that is."
Corvin sees truth in his target's eyes. He was certain, is certain that he's pointing the gun at who he was hired to, but…..'things just got a lot more difficult.'
