My Hero Academia RP (open)

"That's really good for you," Yuuka smiled with complete honestly . She was glade her new friend didn't have any bad side affects.

Inima felt a small smile tug on the corners of her lips, "Thank you."

"Lucky. I remember the first time I went full sized," Connor said with a small laugh. "I ate almost everything in the kitchen before passing out for a day or two."

Inima sighed, "It's not that I have no negative side effects. It's just I don't get them anymore."

(yikes i missed a lot. Anyone wanna catch me up?)

(basically all we did was the long jump and now we're just sitting here talking)

(oh. so my character hasn't done the long jump yet. should he go ahead…? )

Tasper stood at the line, waiting for the go-ahead. The second it went off he took off running, although it wasn't really necessary. He leaped in the air and teleported a good forty meters ahead, landing in a crouch. The robot spouted off, "42.6 meters!"

Connor turned to look over at the long jump curiously, their eyes widening as they realized just how far the person who had just gone had made it. "Dang," they mumbled to themself

Inima shrugged. The kid had a good quirk for this.

That wasn't a jump Yuuka thought to her self, Not really

"Wish I could do something like that with my quirk. How useful would teleportation be?" Connor wondered aloud. "No bus fees, no paying for flights."

Jordan bounces the tiger cub on his knee

Tasper staggered back over to the rest of the group. He'd twisted his ankle pretty badly, but he ignored it. He needed to get better at his quirk if he was going to succeed.

Connor raised a brow at the apparent limp in the guy’s step. “Hey man, you okay?” they asked

"Yeah," he replied, straightening up. "Just twisted my ankle on the landing. My quirk isn't really designed for jumping or being in the air."

"YOu did fine." Jordan snorts

“Are you sure? Because from the looks of it you were built to go the distance,” Connor said, grinning a little at their own joke

"Nah," Tasper said. He tried to explain, "My quirk doesn't…disobey physics, I guess? However high I go, I can't just teleport back down. It doesn't reduce my speed so I feel the impact."

“Ouch. Can’t you like…carry a pillow or something with you and teleport onto it?” Connor asked curiously

"My mom could," he admitted with a wry grin. "It's hard enough to like…carry my clothes with me. Let alone an object."

Inima frowned, "SO you could teleport and become naked?"

"Get your head out of the gutter, Inima," he said with a laugh. "I mean, I haven't since I first started, but…it's possible."

Inima was confused, gutter? What did that mean? She shrugged it off, "I'm just saying if it's that big of a risk maybe you should practice."

Tasper noticed the confusion in her face. Oh right. Was that just an American expression? He decided to move on. "It's not anymore, not really. The tighter the clothes, the easier it is. I don't really think about it anymore. Every once in a while I'll still leave a shoe behind, but otherwise, I'm good."

“Oh god, imagine if you teleported on a job and showed up with no clothes,” Connor laughed. “You’d be called the naked hero.”

Inima wondered how that would work. Why looser clothes worked worse than the tighter ones? She shook her head wondering why the boy was laughing at the idea of being naked. There were plenty of heroes, and villains, that worked with little to no clothing.

"Yeah, it'd be funny," Tasper agreed with a smile. "I don't think I caught your name," he said to Connor, lifting an eyebrow. "I'm Tasper."

“Connor,” they replied. “What’s your quirk, by the way? I kind of just assumed it was teleporting, which is totally rad, but is there like…other stuff to it?”
