"What do you have against me?" She asked, "You don't even know me."

@WriteOutofTime

Tasper yawned again, just to be disrespectful. "Maybe it's because I don't like self-righteous assholes."

@AvaM_Star

That was the last straw. She spun on her heel and walked away, Self righteous, I'm just doing the best I can. I'm just trying to help people. They're all better than me. They all have lives out side of the hero track. This is all I have anymore.

@WriteOutofTime

Tasper watched her storm away, his own anger already fading. Damn it. He was so quite to react he didn't even think before he spoke. Oh, well, she'd been rude anyway. Talking about "I spent all of middle school training." and " I jump off roofs and climb buildings in my free time!" What a show off. He tried not to feel bad for her.

@AvaM_Star

"I'm going to run, Mr. Aizawa", She got her self position on the starting blocks. and waited for the start signal. Yuuka pushed off the starting blocks, Push your muscles to the max you can repair stress and fatigue damage later. 50m is not about endurance, it's about speed. Just run and forget, do what you've always done get let it go. She ran as fast as she could, "6.3 secs" the machine spoke out.

@WriteOutofTime

(did this die or something)

@ShadeStar

(Idk.)

@AvaM_Star

(I don't think so… I hope not.)

@ShadeStar

(Same.)

@WriteOutofTime

Tasper looked over at Inima, who'd been quiet for a while. "Bet you think I'm an asshole for yelling at Yuuka," he said, playing with the ends of his dreads.

@ShadeStar

Inima shrugged. She didn't know what constituted an asshole anyway, "Maybe? I'm not quite sure."

@WriteOutofTime

"She pissed me off," he admitted, crossing his arms again. "I mean, just because I don't have complete control of my quirk doesn't mean I didn't work just as hard as she did to get here. We all made it in. We're all qualified."

@ShadeStar

Inima gave a quick nod. She felt tempted to ask so she did, "What was the entrance exam like?"

She hadn't taken it and was curious as to what was the deciding factor to whom got in and whom was rejected.

@WriteOutofTime

"You didn't take it?" he asked, surprised. "It was hard, but nothing crazy. We had to take down some giant robots."

@ShadeStar

Inima looked down sheepishly. She hadn't been expecting that question, she should have been, but she hadn't. She thought curiously, "No I didn't take it. You could say I got in on recommendation."

Government recommendation.

@WriteOutofTime

"Oh, cool," he said, shrugging. "My mom's recommendation would have been enough for me, but…she refused to recommend me."

@ShadeStar

"Why?" Inima asked him. If her parents recommended her… Well that would be a laugh.

@WriteOutofTime

He looked away, his lips thinning. "Um. She doesn't think I should be a hero." It wasn't that simple, but he didn't feel like explaining his mother's entire ideology to this near-stranger.

@ShadeStar

Inima shrugged that was good enough for her. This was her choice, did she regret it? Just a tad, it was hard to remember all the rules. She let out a sigh, "Parents are stupid sometimes thinking they know what's best for their kids."

@WriteOutofTime

"Yeah, they are," he mumbled. "Are your parents heroes, too?"

@ShadeStar

Inima had a grimace on her face as she murmured, "Not quite."

@WriteOutofTime

"Not quite," he repeated with a wry smile. "So…failed heroes, I'm guessing. Don't worry. Your family's legacy doesn't have to define you."

@ShadeStar

Inima gave him a sideways smile. At least he didn't figure out they were villains, that would be bad, "Thank you. I don't really talk about them since I worry people will define me by them."

@WriteOutofTime

"Me too, for the entirely opposite thing, though." He sighed. "My mom's a great hero. She's…strong, and powerful, and unyielding. She's great in combat and never hesitates. If people knew I was her kid they'd have all these expectations of who I am. I'd rather be judged by on my own."

@ShadeStar

Inima nodded. She let out a sigh, "Well I promise I won't judge you from your mom. Besides I like judging people on my own."

@WriteOutofTime

(gtg to bed, goodnight)
"Thanks," he said, smiling. "I'll do the same for you. It helps that we haven't told our parents' hero names, too. I like the anonymity."

@ShadeStar

(Night!)

Inima side smile grew into a true one. Wow she hadn't smiled like this since she was a kid, "I like it too. Let's keep it that way."

(Oof I disappear for an hour and y’all revive this lol)

Connor sat off to the side, sitting awkwardly as they fiddled with the hem of their shirt. They had barely scraped by on the entrance exam, what with the decoy that had almost crushed them. And they had been forbidden from using larger forms since it had been a week or so after the accident, which definitely hadn’t helped

@AvaM_Star

After finishing her run Yuuka went at sat down by herself, I wonder would everything be better if I had died. She looked down at her pale hands, If I was dead I wouldn't be able to hurt anyone. My existence would make people angry. Just one less monster in the world.

@_sleeby_rat_

Connor shuffled over to Yuuka, feeling like their presence wasn’t really needed at the bench. “So, um. You mind if I sit here?” they asked awkwardly
