"I can try to do that, but I can't say it'll work.. You were right next to me when I fell asleep. Look, I'm trying to take care of myself… It's just hard right now…"

" i know.. i know.." he said

"I don't think I'll be able to go back to sleep, so…you wanna do anything…?" He yawned again. "Don't worry about me… I'll be fine…" He was already barely keeping himself awake..

kokichi sighed, nuzling closer

"I appreciate all the cuddles, but maybe we should do something…" he suggested, only doing so to keep himself awake.

'noo.."

"No? Why not?" he sighed.

"cause i wanna seep"

"Forget about me right now. Are you okay?" he asked, concern evident in his tone. "You're usually more energetic than this…"

" just tired alright?" he said and yawed

"I have reason to be worried about you…" he sighed. "Again, you're usually full of energy. Annoying since you like to bother people, but full of energy. I'm worried about you. I've never seen you sleep this much…"

" a lot of times i put up the energetic me even when im ready to pass out.. i dont have to show that side to you anymore.."

"I'm glad you trust me and all, but what's it gonna take to get you to take better care of yourself?" he asked. "Yeah, I know I haven't been taking care of myself either, but we can work on it together.. I don't want something to happen to you, and you don't want something to happen to me. Why don't we take care of ourselves for each other's sake?"

" alright." he said and sighed

"So, back to sleep, then? We could both use some. Just stay close to me…"

kokichi smiled and snuggled close, yawning again

Kaito held the other close to him and yawned, finally allowing his eyes to close. He was asleep again within seconds, but he seemed to be at peace this time, unlike the last time. It seemed like this sleep would be restful, and it was. About nine hours later, Kaito awoke, feeling much more energized than he had in the past week, finally getting a decent amount of sleep, even if it was all a random and unintentional nine hour nap.

kokichi yawned when he woke, rubbing his eyes gently and looked up at kaito

Kaito looked at Kokichi and smiled a bit. "You doing better now? We were both out for about nine hours."

"yeah!" he said and gave a soft smile

"Glad you're doing better now," Kaito smiled softly. "I'm doing better, if you're wondering."

"You wanna go get some food or something?"

"ike a date?"

"You could call it that if you want to…" he said, looking away as he began to blush ever so slightly.

"alright!"

"So, where do you wanna go? We can go anywhere."
