Shuichi sighed softly as he looked at Kokichi, but he decided to listen to him anyway, as he knew that the other was just going to keep requesting that he did so until he eventually listened to him. Even as he laid down, he seemed to be generally upset about things, but it just hurt him to see his lover in the condition that he was in. All he wanted was for things to get better, but he wasn't even sure if they would by that point.
Korekiyo had felt the weight near him shift, causing him to wake up slightly. He coughed as the tube down his throat restricted his voice
Shuichi sighed softly as he noticed that Korekiyo was waking up. "Don't talk yet, alright…? Just go back to sleep… We can talk more in the morning…"
Korekiyo growled, annoyed by not being able to talk. He cuddled into the other gently
Shuichi understood his lover's annoyance, but he couldn't do much about that. All he could do was cuddle with him and hope that things would get better with time. He truly did want to see Korekiyo recover from everything.
Korekiyo slowly traced the words, I love you, on Shuichi's arm
Shuichi smiled softly at that and decided to respond to the comment. "Aww, I love you, too, Korekiyo," he said softly. "I just hope that you'll be better in the future. I've been so worried about you even before I found you on the ground."
He nodded and cuddled closer
Shuichi cuddled as close to Korekiyo as he could. "Now, please, go back to sleep for a little while, okay? I need to sleep, anyways…"
Korekiyo sighed and slowly fell back asleeo
Shuichi fell asleep not long after Korekiyo did, and he was honestly exhausted. By the time that he woke up again, it was during the afternoon of the next day.
