(U is ded?)
So, um, who wants to do a Harry Potter Roleplay? (OPEN)
(I is live)
(Yay!)
Scipio left the training grounds to go sit beneath a particular willow tree he liked to go to in order to consider things. A book lay in his lap, and he flipped the pages occasionally, but he wasn't reading. He was thinking. Reconsidering all the decisions he remembered making, and thinking bitterly about the ones his father had made. He wasn't sure whether his father made him angry or left him yearning for what a true fatherly relationship could be. Tears of frustration stung his eyes as he thought about what he and his father could have been. He could have trusted his father. They could have been close. But his father clearly had other plans.
(@ThatBackgroundSlytherin are you here? Slyyyyyyy?)
(Yes I'm here I have an avalanche of notes so hang on)
Allegra peeked out from behind the tree. "Scipio?"
Corinne, from up in the air, saw Scipio sitting under a willow tree. Actually, that was her favorite reading spot. She had great eyesight, so, even from that height, she saw that he was crying. She flew over and landed next to him. "Are you okay?"she asked him.
"Oh, hi, Allegra." said Corinne. 'Somethings wrong with Scipio' she mouthed.
'I know.' she mouthed back.
Scipio jumped at the sudden appearance of Allegra and Corinne and quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. "Y-Yes? I'm fine… do you need something?" He didn't seem quite able to make eye contact with either of them.
Allegra knelt down next to him. "What's wrong Scipi?"
"Nothing is wrong, Allegra." Scipio said quietly. "I'm fine." He stared down at his book, forgetting which title it was that he was holding in the first place.
Allegra frowned. "Look. I've known you for 4 years now I think I know when something is up."
Corinne sat down next to him. "You can talk to us." she said, placing her hand on his shoulder.
Scipio's ears turned red, but he didn't respond. He had refused to give Allegra any details about his father previously, and he would really rather not tell her now. His father was that one secret that everyone had, the one thing that one would want to keep to themselves.
"Is it something to do with your family? You said something about it earlier." said Corinne, who was not good with secrets.
I knew I shouldn't have mentioned him… Scipio still remained silent, but he turned away and tightened his grip on the book. This was clearly the answer.
"Hey, if he's a bad person, then you can ignore that. We are your friends. You can talk." Corinne insisted.
Allegra nodded. "I'm here for you."
"We're here for you." Corinne corrected Allegra.
Scipio hesitated before speaking. "I never told you about my father, did I, Allegra?" He said in a smooth voice, keeping his eyes on the book so the others wouldn't see the tears pooling in them again.
(Hello?)
(I'm here)
(Is Scipio's dad in Azkaban?)
(Yes)
(Why?)
(Becoming a Death Eater, Affiliations with Voldemort, all that good stuff)
(I had this idea that Corinne's dad wasn't in a car accident, that's just what she is supposed to tell people. What if her dad was actually murdered by Scipio's dad, but neither of them know it yet.)
(O frick yes I'm always down for a good bit of drama. What if Corinne doesn't know Scipio's last name and then when she hears it she's like Oh. Well frick.)
