“So what do you want to do with Hiro for four hours? Talk, try to break down some force walls, play a game of Holo chess?”

Hiro had started to feel his mind fade into an unconscious state, a cold breath leaving his body. It was a like and induced sleep comma
Winter and Elias watched as he slipped into his unconscious state.
Elias looked at Winter and spoke softly.
“Let’s try what our ancestors used to do. Let’s dream walk. Hiro can see us and hear us, but we are unable to interfere with anything that goes on in the dream. We become ghosts. For his sake, we become force ghosts before we really die. If I’m not mistaken, Estelle can probably do this, and with enough practice, I’m almost positive Shiloh can do it too. I know of Twi-Leks who can dream walk.”
Winter grabbed Hiro’s shoulder firmly, but softly.
“What are we waiting for? It’s worth a shot. All we have to do is clear our minds and focus, right?”
Elias nodded.
“Yes. Let’s go. What do we have to lose?”
As Winter and Elias gently touched Hiro, they began to focus, slipping into their own dream-like unconscious state. When they opened their eyes, they were in a vast expanse of white, with no one to be seen.
“Hey Elias, where are we? Are we in Hiro’s subconscious? It’s not mine, and it’s not yours.”
Elias in the best sense of the word, floated and looked around.
“I have no idea. But look. Our limbs are hazy. And we’re floating. This is the weirdest feeling.”
A scream echoed in the vastness before a suffocating darkness clouded over. A few feet over was hiro, Chains holding him down. His wrists were held down with thick bands of metal and his neck along with his waist was the same..
Hiro was crying as an invisible trauma rushed over in his head “MOM, DAD, PLEASE.. ANYBODY?!”
Off in the distance of the white space, a scream echoed.
Elias and Winter looked at each other.
“Guess we found Hiro. Poor boy has to be going through it.”
Winter and Elias moved their ghost limbs and headed towards the scream. What they say when they arrived was not an easy sight. And as they looked on at the prison Hiro was in, they could do nothing but watch. Winter moved to the front of Hiro.
“Hey kiddo. We can’t break you free, and we aren’t the easiest to see, but me and Elias are here. We’re dream walking. You’re not alone.”
Hiro looked up at winter, his tears only rushing down his face. “ their dead, they're dead because of me! “ the chains grew tighter which only made him struggle more.
Winter looked at Elias and he looked at her. Elias crouched down and looked at Hiro.
“Listen kid. No one is dead because of you. Coming from two people who came from a species who were wiped out by the empire, Winter and I carry tremendous guilt. Survivor’s guilt is a real thing. It’s not easy.”
Winter spoke next.
“Now you need to try and calm down. The more you struggle, the tighter your chains get. This is your mind. You control it. Break free. Have an awakening.”
“I- I can't.. I killed my family.. My force killed them! It was all my fault!” he said shakily, his body shaking heavily, whether with grief or fear. The empire.. They made me..”
Elias and Winter looked at each other. Winter spoke softly
“Believe us we know the feeling. I was the cause for my family being murdered when the Empire came in, And Estelle was the one who pretended to be me to save me. Elias, was the healer of his clan, and the Empire restrained him while everyone was executed. The past is hard to let go of. But letting it go is the only way to move forward. Show us what happened. As horrible as it sounds, reliving what caused you so much pain can bring closure.”
Elias nodded.
“That’s what we had to do in order to move on. That’s also why we had Frost. He’s a new beginning. The start of something that is a positive, even though he was born from something negative. We’ll be here. But we cannot interfere. Just know we won’t leave.”
Hiro lowered his head “okay..”
His surroundings changed, sounds came into play, and trauma came out of shadows. A small child was screaming and watched as two jedi is walked among the crowd, dragged by their necks.
One his father and the other his mother.

Elias kneeled down beside Hiro’s ear.
“Look up. Watch. Get every detail. After we get to Coruscant, we can head back here. For closure. And if we can, at least perform a proper ritual for you parents to become one with the Force if they haven’t already.”
Winter stood behind Hiro.
“You’re not alone. We will not leave you.”
Hiro did, the small child watched as the saber he carried on his belt now beheaded his parents. No remorse was shown that day. Not to the twenty people who had died. Not to the two Jedi parents leaving their son behind
“Papa?” hiro called, frozen with shock. His voice was silent among the screams of pain from the other people, but to the two dream walkers, his voice carried like it was the only one in a cave.
Winter and Elias knew the feeling of loss and grief all too well. And all they could was watch on, knowing that this was the way it had to be, for closure to begin.
The memory shifted, to an older kid, still hiro but around ten this time. Now he was working, carrying parts, and helping fix ships and droids. His craftsman employer was cruel and unforgiving. Every time hiro would mess up or do something wrong, hed get whacked with a spare wrench or pipe.
They watched on, in sadness and in intrigue.
A few years passed with the torment, and one day, the force had awoken and the man was sent flying.
Moments after, hiro was jerked awake. Annndd the sight of chaos with frost made him question what had happened
Once Hiro left the plane of his mind, Winter and Elias went back to reality. The sight that greeted them was chaotic.
Hiro started laughing, wheezing heavily as the cold set in on his body

Estelle’s eyes were huge. “Frost! Get down here right now!” she demanded, staring up at the little Hothian.
Somehow, he had managed to remove himself from Estelle’s grasp and was now floating in the air, inches from the ceiling. Unfortunately, he was also inches out of Shiloh’s reach.
“Shi, get him down!” Estelle insisted worriedly.
The Twi’lek paused from reaching for Frost and frowned at her partner. “What does it look like I’m trying to do? This was your idea in the first place!”
Estelle nervously played with a piece of her electric blue hair that was framing her face. “I didn’t realize his powers worked like this!” she retorted as her wife went back to straining for the boy.
“Frost, come down here!” Shiloh called again, reaching and brushing her fingers just barely against his clothes.
Hiro chuckled, mimicking frost and making his body feather-light, in turn, the cold air lifting his warm body “come here little brother,” he said and smiled
