"It's Callie," She corrected. "And the penny is my favourite thing in the world." Callie said, pointing to the giant penny a few metres away. "It's huge. I love it."
"Very cool. Sounds a lot more useful and mysterious then 'wings'." Jay said glancing to Rocco while finger quoting wings. He looked back at Callie when she corrected him on his mistake. "Oh shoot. Sorry. Callie, make sure to remember that." His line of sight then followed to where the girl was pointing. A giant penny. "That is huge and is probably now the best thing about this place. At the moment at least."
“Why would anyone make a penny that big? It doesn’t make any.. cents.” Rocco laughed at his own joke, shaking his head. “God! You know, I just crack myself sometimes.” He grinned, looking at the large penny.
Jay pauses for a second after the pun for it to sink in before joining in the laughter. What can he say, he likes a good pun. “Man. I wished I thought of that. If you do puns often, I believe we are going to be great friends.” He says between laughs. Once he calmed down, he looks back up to the penny. “But now that you mention it, why does Batman have a giant penny in his Bat Cave. What’s the point?”
Lainey walked into the room with the rest of them. “Hey, person who wasn’t here earlier,” she greeted Annalise. “So are we going to rob this bank or what?”
Annalise waved. "We're robbing a bank? Guess I did miss quiet a bit."
“Yeah, so get ready because we’re about to leave,” Lainey responded. She studied her new companion, trying to figure out which emotions were hers.
Annalise smiled. "Glad I wore my suit under my clothes then. May I have a moment?" She asked, smiling sweetly.

Joker nodded and Naomi rolled her eyes. "Better hurry, transportation should be here any moment now and we don't want you to miss it and leave you here alone." Naomi said a bit coldly.
After very long moments of silence, Nightwing sighed, looked at Batman and said, "You know, you seem off lately, what's wrong?'
"I don't have an idea what you're talking about." Batman said with a huff.
Nightwing rolled his eyes and frowned. "Yes you do. You usually have a plan or lesson, and I've never seen you this distracted before."
Batman sighed and looked at the computer screen. "I guess I'm just surprised they picked me. Why not someone a tad better than me, Like superman?"
Nightwing groaned at the metion of Superman. "As much as I like him, I also hate him."
"Why's that?" Batman asked with an amused tone.
"My name is Superman. I'm a complete jerk with dumb superpowers like doing everything a Batsuit does but if you wave a rock in my face, I turn into a normal being. And apparently I can't handle that, because I collapse onto the ground whenever that happens, screaming in pain. And my greatest enemy is a bald man, who owns a lot of real estate. Oh, so scary. I don't even know why I wear a cape. I just do. Probably because Batman does, and it looks great on him." Nightwing hissed.
Batman smiled and shook his head. "That makes no sense. Well, actually it does. . ." He paused. "Just go bring them back here. It's been more than thirty minutes."
"Aye Aye, Sir." And with that, Nightwing left the main room.
“I guess I don’t really know. It’s.. cool? I guess? It’s kinda like modern art.” Rocco shrugged it off, shaking his head. His couldn’t seem to stand still for long, constantly fidgeting and shifting from foot to foot.
Lainey glanced at the others. “What are your names, by the way?” she asked. “I like to know who I’m working with.”

"Naomi Gray, at anyone's service." She bowed slightly and laughed. "What's your name?"
“Lainey Martinez,” she responded with a smile. “Don’t wear it out. Though when I’m in my costume like this, you can call me Lady Apathy.”
Annalise came back, clothes tucked away in a small knapsack. "Annie Anarchy, if you will~" She said, mock bowing.
“Are we all ready to go?” Lainey asked, trying not to get too excited. Sure, she’d had her fair share of crimes like this, but never with a group and certainly never with the Joker and Harley Quinn.
Jay nods in acknowledgment as Rocco talks. He found puns really funny, any joke even. He is easily amused and some people find it weird. But he could care less. Before the conversation can go any further, someone walked in. Jay thinks the person’s name is Nightwing. “Can we help you?”

"Yes, It seems that the time is up, and I'm here to make sure all of you get back to the main room."
"Well, then, you can call me Black Hurricane." Naomi said.
"It does seem like it. Pam is outside waiting with Penguin. She said if we don't hurry, she'll change her mind and leave without us." Harley said.
"Well, then. Lets get going." Joker smiled. "Students first."
“Yeah, alright. You got an idea of what we’ll be talkin’ about? Class-wise?” Rocco yawned, his posture still slightly slumped.
Lainey walked confidently out the door, hips swinging and eyes shining behind her mask. Her long hair swayed in its ponytail. “You don’t have to tell me twice.”

Nightwing shrugged. “I dunno, maybe how to perfect your fighting skills? He said something, but I wasn’t really paying that much attention. . “
Naomi giggled as she ran out of the warehouse. She stopped when she reached the car, Ivy leaned on the car and the door to the back seats were open. She looked to the other car. Penguin was muttering curses under his breath and scolding a goon of Harley.
Lainey hopped in the back of the car, crossing her legs. She sat like she owned the car, with confidence and excitement emanating from her. “What kind of music do you have?” she asked, glancing at the front of the car.

Naomi got on and sat on one of the backseats. “I swear, if she says Rock, I will murder millions of people.”
Ivy chuckled and got into the driver seat. “I have many types of music, but do tell me, what would you like to hear? I’m mostly saying this so she doesn’t kill millions of people. We don’t need that, well, not yet.” Ivy said, while looking at Naomi.
Lainey rolled her eyes. “Alt rock is amazing. Personally, I’d prefer indie music, if you have it,” Lainey responded. “But pop works too, I guess. Anything but country.”
“Fighting skills? Ugh.. yeah, uh, alright. We’ll be there in a few minutes.” Rocco rubbed his eyes, shaking out his hair and smoothing it back down.

She fumbled around with some buttons before putting some Indie Music. From outside the window, Naomi saw the Joker unlocking the lock from the gate with an object. He pushed the gates open and moved aside. Once everyone was in, Ivy went through the gates followed by the Penguin’s car.
Lainey gazed out the window like she normally did, but she was so ready. She could feel the weapons that she kept concealed, and her powers also made her feel the emotions of the others in the car with her. She, Black Hurricane, and Annie Anarchy would be officially villains after this. What a strange concept. She figured that she should tell the others about her plan after the robbery. Since the heroes were bound to show up, she could decide on a victim.

Nightwing nodded and walked back to the main room. When he arrived there, something came back to the surface of his face and he mumbled something. He walked to Batman, who was looking at a wall, and he lowered his voice. “Bruce, I forgot to tell you this, but you’ve been invited to a ceremony. The mayor and many other people expect you to be there.”
Batman spun around in his chair to face Nightwing. Nightwing knew what expression Batman had under the mask. “Another one?” He tapped his fingers on his legs. “When will I ever get a break from this annoying, yet boring ceremonies?”
Nightwing shrugged. “Who knows, maybe never, maybe in five years, maybe soon.”
Jay nodded along with the short conversation while tapping his foot. He didn’t get to explore for too long, but he guess that thirty minutes was shorter than expected. But on the upside, he met and learned the names of the two other recruits during the short time. It was now time for classes but when asked what was now planned, Nightwing didn’t give a straight answer. That wasn’t very reassuring but what can Jay say. All they know is that it was most likely improving fighting technique. He glance at the two people near before saying, “Well there is no time like the present. Shall we follow the hero to the training room or wherever?”
“Guesso.” Rocco shifted his weight from foot to foot, looking at the other recruits for a moment. He rubbed his eyes. “Yeah, let’s go.”
"Yeah, I guess we should," Callie said, then ran to the room. She sometimes used her powers to go places that she didn't need to get to fast, but it was too late to go back. She stared at Batman. If you knew who my father was, I wouldn't be here, She thought.
