Kiibo was a bit surprised when Kokichi picked him up, but he quickly relaxed in the warmth of the other's wings. He felt protected from the harsh, cold winter outside, and that helped him calm down. He was cold and bleeding, but he hadn't cared until he and Kokichi became friends again. Now that he did care, he wanted to get back home as soon as possible.
"Thanks. And thank you for keeping me warm, too…" he sighed softly. "It's so cold outside…"
“ I know, it's why I'm trying to keep you from getting sick..”
Kiibo nodded in understanding. Being out in the cold with open wounds was never a good idea. He needed to be protected from the harsh winds of the winter night, and Kokichi was willing to protect him. That helped him relax, and he was happy as he began to warm up a little bit. Kokichi's wings protected him from the wind and provided some warmth.
"Yeah, that's a good idea…" he stated. "It's not really good for me to be out in the cold, especially when I'm also wounded."
“Again, I know. And you will have to bandage yourself, I am already heavily fighting instinct “
Kiibo nodded in understanding again. He figured that Kokichi was fighting his urge to drink his blood. He felt as if his friend had been starved while held in captivity, so he couldn't even blame him. He was tempted to let Kokichi drink from him. He didn't care as long as it meant that his friend didn't starve.
"I'm aware, but you could always have some of my blood if you need it. I don't mind," he said softly.
“I- I can't I'm sorry.. it's degrading and immoral”
Kiibo sighed softly. He had done a bit of research on the subject in his spare time, but he never understood why something natural was frowned upon. He was aware that vampires could drink the blood of any animal, but he also knew that they got the most benefit from the blood of humans He knew that it was weird, but he didn't get why it was an issue.
"You…kinda need to drink blood to live…" he sighed. "I can't see you suffer because of your refusal. I'll take care of my wounds at home, but be sure to drink some form of blood, for your own sake."
“ I will, you don't have to worry about that. But I don't wanna hurt you just for some silly desire “
Kiibo nodded. He understood why Kokichi was refusing. He just didn't want to hurt someone close to him, and after all that had happened, he definitely understood that. He didn't want to hurt Kokichi in any way, either, especially after what he had done in the past.
"I get it, I really do," he said softly. "It's all gonna be okay. As long as you take care of yourself, it'll be fine."
Once they were home, kokichi let kiibo go take care of himself, and he himself to go get a drink
It didn't take long for Kiibo to take care of all of his wounds. He was fairly used to having to do so since he was disliked at the academy. He had sustained more injuries than usual that day, but he knew how to take care of all of them. It was concerning how often he had found himself tending to his own wounds, but it helped him stop his bleeding quickly.
Once he was done, he decided to look for Kokichi. He figured that the other was nearby, and he wanted to talk to him. He needed to ask for a change of clothes, but he didn't know where Kokichi's room was or what clothes he was allowed to borrow. He simply waited for the other to come back, which happened after a few minutes.
"Now that you've taken care of yourself, could you lead me to your bedroom?" he asked softly. "I still need to change clothes."
“Oh, yeah sorry..” he said softly, drinking a steaming red liquid from a cup.
“ you'll have to sleep in my room till I fix the guest room, “ he said softly and started off for his bedroom

Kiibo shook his head when Kokichi apologized. There was no need for him to do so. They both had things to do that were more important than getting Kiibo another outfit, so he didn't mind the wait. He was simply relieved that Kokichi was actually taking care of himself. He couldn't stand to see someone who he cared about suffering.
"I don't mind staying in your room," he responded as he followed Kokichi. "I'm glad that you'll allow me to stay with you, really."
Kokichi gave a soft smile “ it's nothing really..”

Kiibo smiled a bit in response to Kokichi's comment and his smile. He wasn't entirely sure why his friend said that it was nothing, but he was glad that he had a place to stay. However, he felt like he needed to make it up to the other somehow. Even being told that it was nothing, he felt like he needed to do something to make up for suddenly moving in with him.
"You say that, but I just suddenly moved in," he sighed softly. "Are you sure that's nothing? I feel like I need to do something to make up for this."
“ it gets… Lonely… Up here by myself. So your company is well appreciated “
Kiibo nodded in understanding. He understood the feeling of loneliness. Ever since he and Kokichi had been separated from each other as kids, he felt lonely almost all of the time. He never fit in with the other humans since he thought that vampires and humans were equal, so he could never make other friends. He was hated at school, and he spent most of his time in his dorm, alone. It was nice to have his best friend back.
"I get it. It's nice to have someone with you, isn't it?" he asked softly. "I was lonely without you, so it's nice to have you back in my life."
“ It's the same here..” he said softly, his cheeks flushing red for a first in a long time
Kiibo was surprised when he saw Kokichi's face go red. It was so sudden, and he had never seen it happen before. He wondered what caused it to happen. He didn't think that it was the conversation since all he said was that it was nice to have Kokichi back in his life. He was only being honest. It was truly nice that he finally had a friend back in his life.
"Y-your face…" he started softly, "it's, um, it's red… Is that normal? Are you okay?"
“ ah! Y- yeah I'm fine kii, “ he said and took another swig of blood
Kiibo nodded as he decided to trust Kokichi about that. He had been worried for a moment since it was sudden, but he was glad to know that the other was just fine. He still wondered about what caused his face to go red to begin with, but at least he knew that Kokichi was fine. He would just have to remember that if something ever caused his face to go red again.
"I'm glad that you're okay," he said softly. "I was worried for a moment."
“ yeh, I've gotten used to going long times without good..”
Kiibo sighed softly. He was worried about how Kokichi's life had been in the years that they were apart. He wondered if he was the only friend Kokichi ever had. If that was the case, then he felt bad that their lives had been the same since the separation. Neither had friends or much happiness in the years following, and it was a sad thing to think about. However, Kiibo was going to try to look on the bright side.
"Same, but hey, we have each other now. That's good, isn't it?" he asked. "Surely it is."
“Yeah.. We've got each other..” he said softly and pulls the other backward, kiibos back on kokichis chest and kokichis arms wrapped around the others waist
The sudden interaction took Kiibo aback. He hadn't expected Kokichi to suddenly hug him from behind like that. He didn't mind the interaction, but it was surprising. As it happened, he could feel his face get a bit red as well. It left him a bit flustered, but he didn't mind at all. All he cared about in that moment was having Kokichi, even if he was confused about the sudden interaction,
"Y-yeah… However…what's with the sudden hug?" he asked softly. "I don't mind, but it surprised me."
“ I just.. I missed your touch..”
Kiibo could feel himself blushing because of the comment. He had no idea why he was responding in the way that he was, but he was beginning to feel flustered over everything. Kokichi missed his touch? That was a random thing for his best friend to admit, and while he missed the other's touch as well, he couldn't help but blush from being tokd that.
"You…you did…?" he asked softly. "I-I mean, I, um, I missed yours, too, but still…"
Kokichi sighed “ kiibo.. I- I wanna ruin our friendship..”
He paused, kissing kiibos cheek “ I think we should be livers instead..”
Kiibo's face became a deep red when Kokichi kissed his cheek. He hadn't expected to receive physical affection from anyone, even his best friend. He thought that they would remain as friends and nothing more. It was a relief that Kokichi felt the same way about him, but it was very surprising as well. He didn't know how to process it all at first.
"You, um, you love me…?!" he exclaimed. "Sorry, sorry…I, um, I really, well, I really feel the same, but it's, ah, it's a lot for me to process…"
Kokichi nodded and took kiibo to his room
