It's an AU that I half made up a while ago(like over the summer, when I was just getting into VLD). It would preferably take place sometime around S2, before everything absolutely went to hell and back and–yeah I'm gonna shut up so I don't spoil for anyone who might not have seen that far lol

Basically, there's another reality where Voltron is different colors–because convenience, I guess? I dunno–and instead of it being 10,000 years since the fall of Altea, it's been 20,000. As such, the Galra are way more advanced and super OP and team Voltron, once they're eventually assembled, doesn't have very many wins. Eventually, after a couple of actual deaths on the team, they decide that they'd be more use in another reality and get the materials together to hop over because, really, it's that bad. Possibly another character sacrifices themselves, I don't really know. The AU's only like half put together lmao. Either way it's super emotional and they make it.

Enter THE CANON PALADINS!! trumpets So at first they're confused–a freaking Voltron lion?? Confusion??–but then they find Twotron and hear their story. Of course, nobody's happy with it. What kind of Paladin abandons their entire universe? But OG Voltron find themselves in a little bit of a pickle, and eventually the Paladins of Bootleg Voltron are allowed out into the fight. After a while, they earn the trust of the other Team Voltron and fight with them.

I don't even know if you're interested in this, so I'll stop at there. That's all I have for story stuff, but if you like it, I could name off the other Lions and their colors and attributes.
