"Ugh, fine." Scorch whispered, snatching the vase and placing it back in her bag. "Follow me." She stepped into the nearest room, pulling the SeaWing in behind her and closing the door. She listened quietly for the guards to pass by, and quickly checked to make sure the vase was still in one piece.

"That doesn't matter. What matters, is how we get out."" Scorch replied, turning to look at him. "You know your way around this place. How would you leave without being seen?" If the SeaWing wanted to tag along, he'd have to make himself useful.
(Okie!)
Scorch stepped out of the closet. "Lead the way." She followed him down the hallway, glancing back every now and then to make sure they weren't being followed.
(I guess we can timeskip now if you want?)
"Let's go then." Scorch took to the air, glancing back to make sure Royal followed her. Alright, to the Scorpion Den. It would take a while to get there, but she had a feeling Oryx wouldn't complain once he saw everything she had brought back for him.
(Oryx is the guy she usually meets up with to sell her stolen stuff.)
She rolled her eyes at the nickname. "Don't call me princess." There was no way he would survive for long in the Scorpion Den without her help. "Have you ever even left the SeaWing kingdom?"
"Well, today you get to see the real world." Scorch replied, "We're going to the Scorpion Den. When we get there, you have to stay close and do exactly what I tell you to do." She shot him a sharp glance. "Understand?"
"We'll stop there, and keep going in the morning." She answered. "We might even be able to get some supplies while we're there." That, and some more stuff to sell to Oryx, of course. She could easily exaggerate the value of the items anyway, but the more the better.
(Sure.)
"Again, don't call me that." Scorch said, "We should be there soon."
~Timeskip to rainforest I guess~
"Alright, here we are." Scorch landed gracefully at the edge of the rainforest. "We can get some rest and get going tomorrow." She looked at Royal, flicking her tail. "We have two options. Stay out here, or go into the rainforest?"
(Gtg. Night!)
(Whumpis)
"Alright then, in we go." She turned away from him, walking into the rainforest. She could have just told him they were going in, why did she ask his opinion?
"For the record, I was planning to go in anyway." She stated, glancing at him over her shoulder. "I was just going to leave you out there if you didn't want to come."
"…? Ok?" If that was the case, why did she even ask him?
He followed closely behind her, not wanting to get lost in an unfamiliar area.
"So, princess, were you also planning on finding proper shelter? Or should we sleep in the trees?" Royal asked as he glanced around.
This place is filled with trees. That's probably why it's called a rainforest.
"Shelter would be ideal. I was hoping we'd run into some RainWings, and be able to get some food, but we could always just hunt for like, a pig or something."
Scorch looked around as well, though she wasn't entirely sure what she was looking for.
"Oh, but don't eat the sloths. The RainWings like to keep them as pets.
"Ah, yes. I know about the sloths." He smiled. "Thank you for the reminder, though."
He remembered seeing Queen Paradise with one before, the last time she'd visited the Summer Palace.
"If it's Rainwings we're looking for, perhaps we should head deeper." he suggested. He doubted they would live so close to the edge.
"Well, obviously." Sorch replied, rolling her eyes. "What, you expected them to be out here by the edge, fish-face?"
"You know what, I'm calling you that from now on." She added, chuckling at his reaction. "Let's get a move on, fish-face. I'd prefer to find the RainWings sooner rather than later."
She glanced up at the sky, or rather what she could see of it through the trees. It was getting dark, so they might just have to find shelter for the night instead.
"Can you stop calling me that? It sounds like pet name, it's gross." Scorch said, glancing back at him.
"Why would you call me that anyway? You could have picked anything else, why 'princess'?"
"Well, you never did tell me your name. I do, however, apologize for making you uncomfortable, my lady."
He tilted his head to the side. "Would you rather I call you Onion?"
Wait…
That's not the name she gave him back at the Summer Palace.
His eyes widened as he attempted to correct himself. "Nunya! I meant Nunya! I didn't mean to imply you smell, or anything, I swear!"
She was silent for a moment. Onion? That was absolutely ridiculous! It did sound rather funny, though.
She chuckled, then started laughing. "What? Onion? That has got to be the most ridiculous name I've ever heard!"
Once Scorch regained her composure, she decided it wouldn't hurt to tell him her actual name. "Well, if you must know, my name is-"
Suddenly, a voice rang out. "ROYAL!" In a flash of pink scales, a RainWing jumped down from a tree and tackled Royal.
"What the- hey!" Scorch pulled the RainWing away, stepping between her and the SeaWing.
"Oh, hi!" The RainWing smiled cheerfully. "Who are you?"
Scorch scoffed. "Oh, don't get all cheery with me. You just attacked him!" She gestured to Royal with her wing.
"Attack him? I wouldn't do that, he's my friend, you silly dragon!" The pink dragon giggled, moving to stand next to Royal.
Scorch looked at the two of them for a moment, confused. "…What?"
