"Ya don't realize words hurt, though ya just met me so I won't blame ya too much. And because I'm lonely so I fill my bed with pillows and stuffies to create a false sense of not being alone, in a sad attempt to fill the chasm of my heart. That's why." She nuzzled into his chest.
ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE! If you want it
"Oh." Teon pursed his lips together. "Sorry, I guess?" He gave her a soft smile. "Well, that is poetry. Sad and kinda beautiful. I hope I'm not making anything worse."
"I love writing poetry." She says softly, smiling a bit. "You aren't. I've fucked myself over so much that no one can make me worse." She tugs down her jacket sleeves.
"Okay," Teon said carefully, not wanting to shatter this moment, as he so often did. "Well, I hope, at least, I could try and make it just a bit better." He glanced at her sleeves but decided not to pry.
"You are…a bit." She smiled, nuzzling in even closer. She sighed, and took in a deep breath. "You smell good. Like not like anything in particular just good. Like home. Sort of." She shrugs.
"Thank the stars." Teon let loose a deep breath. "I don't actually enjoy hurting people, contrary to popular belief. Just… tell me if I do something you don't like." He gave her an amused smile. "Thanks?"
She nodded. "Will do. And you're welcome, I guess, Your just comforting." She smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Comforting. That's a word that's never been used to describe me before," Teon said, a small, sad smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Thank you."
She kissed his nose. "Well. It's true. You may be an ass, but butts make really great pillows. And your warm. And snuggly." She nuzzled in. "I like it."
"Well, thanks again!" Teon grinned and gave her a small kiss on her cheek. "Honestly, you are really making my day today. Even if I kinda ruined yours. A bit. I think."
"Good." She nodded and giggled. This was rare for her to be all sugary sweet like this.
"My gods, you are making it very hard to not lo- like you," Teon said, hoping she didn't notice his quick change of words. Curse his mouth for just saying what he was thinking!
"Ah. Aha. Hahahaha. Love me. Your funny." She rolled her eyes. "I am unlovable."
"Well, I disagree," Teon said matter-of-factly. "What makes you think you're unlovable?" He asked, his voice containing the barest trace of sadness.
"Worthless. Unimportant. Bitchy. Angry, filled with energy, mentally unstable. Crazy. Most likely to kill someone in their sleep. Just not okay at all. I'm not even pretty." She shrugged. "Such is life."
"Okay, I disagree with all of those things, mostly," Teon said. "You are not worthless. Or unimportant. At all. And… you're very pretty." Teon shrugged. "It'd be boring to be with someone all calm and nice, anyways. You are the perfect person, for me, at least."
She blushed and buried her head into his chest. "No I'm not, you liar. Eventually you'll get tired of me. Everyone does."
"I guess we'll just have to see," Teon said, gently kissing her on the cheek. "I'm guessing I won't get tired of you." He gives her a comforting smile.
She gives him a judging and angry look, and nuzzled in to him, shaking her head a bit. "Liar."
"No. If you can like me, I can like you." Teon said, shaking his head as well. "I mean, I'm not the best person for some people, but here we are." He sighed. "It may not be the same, but…" He trailed off.
"Ah, you nearly said love." She said with a grin. "But what?" She asked, looking up at him.
"When did I nearly say love?" Teon asked. "What are you what-ing?" He laughed, throwing one hand against his forehead. "I'm so confused."
"Just a little bit ago…I'm whating you stopping mid sentence, dork." She kissed his nose.
"Oh. Right." Teon blushed slightly. "I stopped because… I don't remember." He frowned. "Actually, I do. I think I ran out of things to say and wanted to seem all wise and stuff. Or something like that." He laughed.
She laughed. "You are such a dork." She leaned up and kissed his lips.
Teon smiled against her lips and kissed her back quickly. "Thank you." He whispered, still smiling. "It means the world to me that you said that."
"Really? Why is that?" She said, her hand moving around until it found yours and intertwined your fingers together. She then used her other arm to prop herself up on her elbow.
"Oh, believe me, that's one of the nicest things people have said to me in a long time." He shrugged. "I could go into a whole sob-story, but I won't. Also, being called a dork is pretty awesome, at least to me." He grinned at her and lifted her hand to his mouth, pressing a quick kiss to it. "So, thanks!"
She blushed and looked at you. "Your handsome, and sorta sweet and a jokester, and delicious and warm. And funny. And just all around a great person."
"Thank you! I think that's the most compliments I've ever gotten in a single time. Except for Emrys, but anything e says doesn't really count." He smiled at her. "And you are quite beautiful, and full of wonderful surprises."
