She needed to get the rest of the, quickly. Curse that blundering rookie. She moved quickly onto the third target, then the fourth, and the fifth. She took out at least half the targets on her own.

Meanwhile, Adira was moving with her dagger as if she had lived with it all her life, which she probably had.

Meanwhile, Houston was cornered by the dog.
"Nice doggie. Good doggie. Good girl. Or boy. Or whatever the heck you are, little menace. No, I didn't kill your owner, nope, not at all…it was, uh, lightning. Yeah."
The dog leapt. "AH, GOOD LORD, SEE THIS IS WHY I LIKE REPTILES!" And Houston ran off the wall, crashing into Josie, who was running after Zoe, who was after Cicada.
"What do you want?" Josie asked, skidding to a stop.
"THE DOG, THE MEAT-EATING DOG!" Hou clung to Josie's leg.
Josiah turned around and punched the dog in the snout just as it was about to bite his leg. "Get a move on, kid."

Houston was causing a wreck. "Hey, rookie! I've got this… you… just do something else!" Adira tried cooing the dog away, and she was successful. But what was she suppose to do with a dog??

Frantically, she turned to meet a very fit young man who looked about in his twenties. Dropping the dog at his feet, she awkwardly ran toward the others.

Zoe rolled her eyes at all the chaos as she followed Cicadia. "Were you planning this?"

"Nope," Cicada grumbled, "Let's just get this over with and back to the ship should I can kill Houston and his idiocy."

"My name isn't Rookie." Hou growled under his breath, but no one could hear him. He soon joined Cicada at the front of the line. "Now what?"

"Oh. My. God. We do not have time for this!" Panicking, Adira was losing control. Her crystal was flashing a violent shade of purple, and energy was moving rapidly around her.

Cicada whipped a dagger at him, "You are going back to the ship and staying there. This would have gone according to plan if it wasn't for you!"

"Get it together!" Zoe yelled at everyone as she grabbed Adria by the collar and dragged her to the ship.

"But it is going according to plan. Just with a bit more city fires."

"Well, you seem in a rush, you don't happen to be heading to that ship over there, do you?

"No it's not," Cicada snarled as she stalked towards him, "There was supposed to be a small fire as we snuck around and took out the targets. Instead we have total chaos! You are to go back to the ship, or you will not live to see dawn."

"Why?" Josiah grumbled, facing the stranger head-on.

Dumfounded, Adira turned around and calmed instantly, "Sorry guys, just lost control. But really, what the f*ck are you doing here?!"
