(Alright! Onwards!)

@Bandito

Dash was, for once, not awoken by the sense of his skin being cut, but by the sound of the 1017th match being announced. And this time, the guards were looking at him.
No. Dash lunged upward, banging his head on the ceiling. He froze stiffly, and through wide-awake eyes he scanned the surrounding area. His lips were already wet from his own teeth biting into his lip, but he licked them anyway. It was his time. His time had come. Time was running out. It was a race against time. Time. He hated the word already.
The guards were moving impassively towards all the others he had seen earlier. So they are watching closely where we look and who we talk to. They were the criminals here, and the fact wasn't forgotten. What was there to do? Fight? Run and hide? Who and where? I am a survivor. Bone, blood and ash. Dash repeated the thought, and he remained as hard and still as ice or metal as the guards approached.

book

Kirisano snuck behind him. "If it's your time," he said, "good luck."

@Bandito

(This is a three on three match, and we have seven characters, so please pick two of yours(The Althalosian) to fight in this first one. They need to pick a position against or for each other some time, and the first match will teach them who to watch out for. And speed anything else along. So all of us are involved in this match. :))

book

(Is anyone going to die in this? Or is it just a seeing what they can do thing?)

book

(Or can the three of us fight together?)

@Bandito

(Your character can die if you think it fits, and in this one it's two teams of three fighting each other. Dragoncita has 2 characters, I have 1, you have 3, and Eris has 1. So my character, one of your characters, and one of Dragoncita's characters could be on one team, and Eris's character, one of your other characters, and Dragoncita's other character could be on the other team, or the other way around. Or, if Dragoncita doesn't want Yaguzul to fight yet, you can try your third character)

book

(But is it to the death or not? Can we have a couple characters fight but not with the people on here yet? Such as Dash and Kirisano against guys we don't know, just to test them and force them to reveal their powers?)

@Bandito

(It doesn't have to be to the death, a player can become too injured to continue fighting and the audience can vote whether to let him live(determined by how much they were entertained, like showy moves). Definitely not early on in the story. And yes, good idea. We can have two matches going on at the same time if anyone else becomes active)

book

(So is Dash, Kirisano, and two baddies a good match for rn?)

@Bandito

(Okay, since we're the only ones on :))

book

(Coolio. Let's make some mini templates for the guys they'll be fighting. Only looks and power are really necessary I think.)

book

Bounty hunter, male.
Not really muscular.
Dark skin, long brown hair with fifteen braids.
Bow and exploding arrows
Body armor.

@Bandito

Minotaur, male
Extremely tall
Dark brown bull's head, filed bull hooves, brown skin
Thick horns, a rope net, a large war ax
Gloves and chain mail leggings

group
@Dragoncita group

((OOC: Well, I can't really see Yaguzul working with a group. He'd go completely rogue, forgetting about being in a 'team', and just kill everyone and everything. Medea would work better in a team setting))

book

(Why don't you start narrating for the four way match.)

@Bandito

A minotaur and a human were already waiting as Dash was pushed firmly through the door on the Left. The moment his feet touched the dust, he braced for paradise, but it didn't come. I'm not a corpse! He opened his eyes and looked around as the man who wished him luck followed. This arena was big, dusty, and stank of sweat and blood. A long. wide stairway ran up the side of the arena to the top, but it led to empty air, as if the builders had forgotten to finish it.
Not yet.
A bodiless voice addressed the hundreds of flushed faces surrounding the arena and the four players in the middle. "GOAL: DEATH BY FALLING! ANY OTHER MODE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED! LAST MAN STANDING! ON THREE!"

book

Kirisano looked at Dash. "I am with you. I saw what you did for the girl." He pulled out his nodachi. "Allies?"

book

(How can they both survive? I don't want any deaths quite yes.)

@Bandito

(By killing the minotaur and hunter? This is a team thing so they're not supposed to kill each other.)
Dash licked his lips, looking toward the man. "Allies…I'm Dashilan." A silver longbow appeared in his hands, an arrow already nocked.
"ONE!"

book

Kirisano's eye's began to darken with rage. A red light began to grow over the blade of his sword.
"TWO!"

book

The bounty hunter looked at the minotaur. It nodded.
"THREE!"

@Bandito

Dash immediately released his first arrow, and it hit the minotaur's head, hard. Dash waited for him to collapse, beginning to feel sick, but the minotaur just staggered back, blood dripping in his eyes as he smiled. His skull, it's too thick. Should've gone for the eye. Stupid. The bow was replaced with two long, thick steel whips. At least the enemy's strategy had been delayed.

book

Kirisano ran at them, holding his sword aloft. The hunter smiled at him. He pulled out a bow and shot an arrow. Kirisano stopped short just in time for it to hit the ground in front of him. The explosion was an instant of pure deafening.
The hunter grinned. "That was your warning!" he shouted. "Next time I will not miss."

@Bandito

The minotaur regained his balance, took a step toward the man, snorted. Dash lunged with his whips and they wrapped around the minotaur's horns just as an arrow exploded in front of them. The minotaur, who had started to charge after the arrow hit the ground, was brought to an abrupt halt and fell loudly onto his back. Dash jumped on top of him but the minotaur jerked his net around Dash, trapping them both on the ground. The minotaur rolled so he was on top, pinning Dash with his weight. He raised his war ax with one arm, freeing himself from the net with the other, and slammed it down onto empty ground. Dash rolled away just in time and pulled hard again, but this time the minotaur barely stumbled as it lowered it horns. Dash could feel his ears getting cold. He tightened his whips until they began to slice through the minotaur's horns.

book

Kirisano charged the bull man and swung his sword in a broad downward stroke. The red light shot off the blade and sliced down the creatures back. A large gash opened up, and was promptly cauterized. The minotaur bellowed in pain.
The hunter sat back. Amused and unharmed. He sent another arrow their way.

(can the other fighters spectate?)

book

(Yes. That way they can spy on the other's skills. You can write a piece about giant tv screens or something.)

Zane drifted towards the screens showcasing the on going match. He had been eyeing a few of the players that had been summoned this round and was curious about their abilities. He ran a hand through his green hair as he shoved a few other spectators out of the way. The roar of the crowd could he heard muffled within the room but it was still loud enough to get his blood racing. Crossing his arms, Zane settled before the screens and watched, eyes focused with killer intent.

book

Karoc glided from the shadows to a place nearer the strange vision devices. It would be wise to know the power of his enemies.
