For all his icy behavior, Damian tends to cuddle when he’s asleep. Being the source of warmth closest to him, the prince wrapped both of his arms around Catori, holding the princess close.
Pine looked back. "Not quite, but I thought you'd want to see where my brothers grew up. Do you want to skip it?"
"It won't!" Victor shouted. Charming veered hard to the side, away from the city and hurtling toward a dense forest. Vic grinned, eyes alight.
Lotus shrugged, she had already explored the city before heading to the palace, "I see no problem with doing that."

Catori looked down at Damian, internally screaming, and externally blushing fiercely. Really really tired.

Copper fluttered onto Damian’s shoulder, pecking a bit at the prince. Damian woke up a little, mumbling something incoherently.
Catori shot a look at her, shaking her head. They probably should get going, but Damian needed rest.
“Tori?” Damian’s eyes remained shut, but he seemed to be trying to pull himself into the waking world again.
"Yeah?" She looked down at him, smiling softly. He's peaceful when he's sleeping..
“Are we at Sana yet?” His voice was hardly above a whisper. Copper flitted to Damian’s chest, tucking herself underneath Damian’s chin.
"Not quite." Maybe we should move to the carriage, so he can keep sleeping.. "We're still in the woods."
Jasper, the servant Damian had brought along with him, stepped outside the carriage. “Prince Marcuse? Is everything al—“ He stopped, a bit shocked to see the cold hearted prince snuggling up to Catori.
Catori shot him a smile. "Everything is alright! He's just…tired!"
“Yes… I—“ Jasper halted again, but shook his head. “This is just unusual, even for him.” Jasper noted, staring at Damian. “Would you like me to set up tents or will we be moving again soon?”
Catori thought for a second, trying to ignore that comment. "If I can get him into the carriage, we can continue and he can rest."
“Would you like me to help you lift him?” Jasper offered, preparing to tether the horses to the carriage for this shift in plans.
She nodded and turned Poe to follow Victor, her grin growing as they rode.
"Um, yes please." Catori smiled a bit awkwardly. "It would be appreciated."
Jasper nodded, walking over and taking ahold of Damian’s legs. “He should be fairly easy to lift. He has a tendency to skip meals.” He continued, bracing himself to lift the prince.
"I'm going to have to fix that." Catori muttered, nodding and grabbing his upper torso. "On three?"
Jasper nodded, suppressing a smile at Catori’s resolve. Copper flew to Catori’s shoulder to avoid getting jostled around.
"One, two, three!" She lifted easily, trying not to laugh at the sight of Damian dangling between the two of them.
Jasper quickly lifted as well, backing slowly into the carriage. Damian let out a quiet whine of protest as he was moved, his body tensing slightly.
"Just getting you somewhere more comfortable, Damian." Catori soothed, glancing down at him with a smile.
The carriage was large, meant for six people. On one side sat all the supplies Damian brought, including the money filled chest. Jasper set Damian’s legs down on the cushioned seats on the clear side of the carriage. “Us there anything else you need, Princess?”
"I'm fine! Thank you for your help, though." Catori sat down and gently dropped Damian onto her lap, shooting a bright smile at Jasper. "I wouldn't have been able to get him in here without your help."
Jasper dipped his head. “Do be careful, Princess. He’s rather grumpy upon first waking up.” He warned, eyeing Damian. “We’ll be moving again shortly after I clean up and tether the horses.” He added, slipping outside.
Catori looked down at Damian, raising an eyebrow. "Grumpy, huh?"
Jasper carried back in the weapon from Fletcher. “This is yours, correct?” He looked over at Catori.
"Uh, no, that would be Damian's. From his brother oddly enough. I left all of my weapons back home."
Seeing that Damian was fast asleep, Jasper allowed himself to laugh quietly. “I assume the prince didn’t brag about his fighting prowess?”
