Hunter or Hunted? (Open)

"Er- no, we don't need me to be lugging you around like a sack of potatoes for another five hours. It's my turn to be cool." Elm says, looking at the black in Aza's blood. "After this, I'll see if I can heal you."
Placing the tips of his left hand's fingers to the tips of his right hand's fingers, Elm began an incantation.
"Terra, aperire et abscondere nobis."
He says, and before they know it, Azzy and Elm are underground.
"Welcome to the Labyrinth." Elm says, voice bouncing off the walls, echoing.

Aza shivered. "The…Labyrinth?" she squeaked. "Like…the Labyrinth?"

"Afraid so, but we can get out of this anytime. I know a few people in here." Elm says, turning to Aza.

"Ooo-kay," Aza said and took Elm's hand, twining her fingers with his. "Is it always this cold?"

(Aw!)

Hunter scowled. "Man, this world is messed up." She sneered at the hounds, then at Selene. Her look rivaled the princess's.

A crisp smile formed on Selene's face, and she sweetly smiled at Hunter. "I like you, Hunter. Perhaps we can make a deal." She said, an excited glint in her eyes. "I know the locations of the two people you're searching for. Aisen and Adara. I can take you there, as long as you can help me with Elmsworth and Azalane."

Elm looked at Aza with a smile. "Sometimes, but normally my hands are colder." He says. An echoing noise comes from further down the Labyrinth.

"What was that?" Aza said, darkness gathering in her free hand and her grip on Elm's hand tightening.

"It honestly could be anything, but I doubt it's stronger than us," Elm reassured her. The sound of footsteps came from down the hall. "Hello? Anybody there? Where am I?" The voice of a woman came from the hall. "Oh, shit."
Elm whispered and turned around. "Run!" He yelled, and hissing could be heard from where the woman's voice came from. "That's Naga." Elm told Aza while they ran.

"And I presume that's bad?" Aza said and shot a bolt of darkness behind them.

Hunter scowled at Selene. “For some reason I don’t feel as though you’ll keep your end of the bargain.”

“Woah, please calm down I don’t want to hurt you” his hands seemed to have swirling air in them

"The last thing you could do is hurt me," Selene says to Lewis, rolling her eyes. "Okay, fine then. But whatever my brother promises he can do, it won't be good enough." Selene says. Dark circles begin to form under Selene's eyes and they get darker and darker, growing and taking over her face. She throws her head back in pain and lets out an ear-piercing scream. The darkness trickles from her face and slithers onto her neck. Selene falls to the floor, landing on her knees. Her eyes widen and then they snap shut, her arms and legs consumed in darkness.

"Yeah it's bad, she's a half snake half woman and this particular one doesn't like me very much." Elm says to Aza, pausing between breaths.

"Okay so like Medusa?" Aza said.

"Pretty much, yeah." Elm says. "There's an exit to the labyrinth further down I can feel it." He says to Aza. There is a weird sensation in the air, like clean air is blowing your way.

"Run faster, then!" Aza said and poured on more speed, dragging Elm along with her.

“What is happening!?” He said with concern

Elm almost tripped over himself with Aza's sudden burst of speed, but he joined her. A soft light comes from down the hall, it seems to be emitting from a crack in the wall.

He started to walk back slowly and swirling energy started to grow in his hands

Her dead stare focuses on the floor, and Selene is still. A foul-smelling wind comes from the opened door, and it settles over Selene. Her fingers begin twitching. She looks at Lewis, tears brimming.
"Run, while you still can." She says, hoarsely.

Hunter blinked. “What’s happening?” She muttered quietly.

His mind buzzing stay and try and help or run I can’t leave but I don’t want to have to hurt anyone he decided “how could I help? I know I might die by helping but I still will try”
