Farron sighed and nodded, climbing into the carriage.
One-On-One anyone? (CLOSED)
A footman closed the door.
Farron rubbed at his face with both hands.
"Look, I'm sorry Farron. But this is just something that I have to do for myself."
"Then why is Ali and myself here if this is something you have to do for yourself?
"Because….because I need someone there with me."
Farron took Fae's hand in his, "Care to tell me what the plan is?"
"When I was there, I would hear one of my family screaming, everyday. They would scream and scream until they stopped screaming because they couldn't take it anymore and died. And then The Doctor would move onto someone else. First Mother, than Father, then Naida, then Azari. I couldn't bear Mother's screams, and I was almost broken by the time they got to Azari. We saw an opportunity to escape, and we took it. But Azari didn't make it. Did I ever tell you what her last words were?"
Farron shook his head, "No, you didn't. But what does this have to do with the plan?"
"I'm not trying to tell you the plan, Farron. I'm trying to tell you something else. Her last words were 'You are beautiful and perfect, and you are going to be okay. You don't need to change yourself to fit in with the rest of Athenia or to matter to someone. I love you Fae. Nothing will change that.' I've never forgotten those words. I watched her die. I watched her hair fade to dull colours. I watched the light disappear from her eyes. I felt her warm skin gog cold and I felt the exact moment that her breathing stopped."
“I can’t pretend to understand what it’s kike to have a family member die. I’m sorry you had to go through that.”
"I want him to endure the same thing that he put my family through."
“And you want Ali to watch that?”
"No, of course not. I don't even want to watch that. It will happen in the dungeon: it's cells are almost identical to the ones we were kept in."
“Then why bring our daughter with us?”
"Because I don't trust any of the people in the castle with her."
Farron nodded slowly, "You could have just left her and I there."
Fae didn't say anything. She simply turned away and looked put of the window.
Farron sighed and sat back in his chair, removing his crown and placing it beside him.
Alizeh sat between her parents, watching their back and forth banter.
Farron ruffled his daughters hair with a small smile.
Fae had so many thoughts running through her head as the scenery went past.
Farron put Ali on his lap and his daughter giggled a little.
Fae smiled at hearing Ali giggle.
Farron booped Ali on the nose and the little girl grabbed his finger playfully.
Fae turned to watch them. She wasn't ready to interact with Farron but liked to watch him interact with Alizeh.
Farron smiled at his daughter, his eyes twinkling with happiness as the little girl booped his nose back.
Fae smiled faintly at them.
Farron rested his forehead against Alizeh's, smiling at her and she smiled back before Ali poked her father in the stomach.
(kinda wanna let this die)
