If any of you have seen 'Over the Garden Wall" this is very similar- hence the resemblance in the names. When you cross over the Garden Wall, it's basically purgatory. Your not alive, but your not dead yet either. It's a lighthearted cartoon and very fun, but there is a somewhat dark message behind it. So in my role-play these kids, (ranging from age 12 to 15) are exploring an old historical mansion in the woods. Obviously something goes wrong, and they end up running from 'ghosts' that are really just rats in the walls. Well maybe… They attempt at climbing a cracked stone wall at the edge of the property , but most of them slip and fall over the side. When they gain their bearings, they realize they can't climb back over the wall, so their trapped, lost in the deep dark woods that they were told never to enter. Are they dead, half dead, or fully alive? We won't know until they can get back over the wall.
Since the inspiration of this show is PG, so is the role-play.
