"Cassius," Tolkalee snapped, now right next to them. "Swallow your emotions. Right now you have a patient. You have to stay focused so you can help them."

When the silver caduceuses in Cassius’ eyes flashed, his tears all evaporated. He was rather smiling ruefully…
“Tell me when there is one minute left…” Cassius turned to Tolkalee. He was true to his words.

"Well, that would be right… Now," Tolkalee said.

Cassius held onto Aisen’s arm.
I’m Sorry for this…” he muttered before the caduceuses in his eyes disappeared.

When they did, Aisen’s eyes shot open with silver caduceuses representing his brother’s in his eyes.
Aisen looked around, seeing his brother’s hand on his arm. “No no no no…you can’t do this…” he turned Cassius’ body so that he would laying upwards.

Cassius smiled and grabbed Aisen’s hand, squeezing it. “Remember something…You don’t have to cry that I’m gone…but smile…’cause I’d want you to…I’ll being waiting with Carlsen…we’ll be waiting for you……” he said faintly with a smile before his body disintegrated, leaving an artifact on Aisen’s lap which reads…

”Anatomy Puppeteer”

Hinata looked over.
"Oh my God…"

(Why did I slightly tear up when I wrote that…)

(So did I…)

(How do you justify this?)

@CasiCasino group

(I really can’t, but one of them had to die. I saw that Aisen was more important to some of the characters so…I’m sorry ;-;)

Aisen held onto the artifact on his lap tightly, clenching his other fist. He kept the artifact in his coat’s pocket… kneeling to the ground. He let out a deafening and mentally pained scream. He was clearly stressed out and filled with sorrow to the brim.

(That doesn't justify it!)

(Like I mentioned, I really can’t ;-;)

(I'm sad now…)

Hinata slowly made her way to stand beside Aisen. She didn't say anything, because she knew there was nothing she could say. She understood completely how he felt.

Tolkalee stared blankly at the spot where Cassius had been. He seemed to not hear Aisen's cry. He didn't feel even numb. He felt no sadness or anger or anything.

Hinata placed her hand on Aisen's shoulder.

Jonathan, who was Aisen’s one and only apprentice, approached his teacher and hugged him from behind. Being a kid, he didn’t fully understand what happened but he felt that it was the right thing to do.

group

(I-I just… if you need me, I'll be in the corner)

(I’m sorry for this but I had to…)

Aisen looked back at Hinata and Jonathan, smiling through his tears.
“Thank you…” his tear stained face was cleared by the movement of his fractured wrist.

Then pure rage flashed through Tolkalee. He turned and left the room. If he was lucky he would run into one of the little twerps running around causing trouble.

group

Hinata knelt down next to him. She gave a sad smile.

Aisen slowly stood up, now with caduceuses in his eyes.
“Our legacy will live on…” he wiped the tears from his cheeks as he muttered those words.

The hall Tolkalee walked in was mostly empty, but a figure stood out. It was the person Matthew mentioned with the Eclipse ability, Nis. But he had his back turned and was walking somewhere else.

group

Hinata stood up as well. She glanced over at her portal, which still hung in the air.

(I gotta go, sorry for cutting it short)

(Ah, byeee)

Chris who just woke up went out as well. Behind the crow mask and a brave smile, the faint tears of another forgotten child of the Labyrinth was visible.

Aisen looked around.
“Where…where’s Tolkalee?” He turned to ask Hinata, still with some tears in his eyes but fainted.

Cronos slowly walked back to the large room, meeting Adara on his way. He was not sad…but rather was devastated. He knew that the fifteen minutes passed. Being close friends with Cassius, he knew that the one who faded wasn’t Aisen but was him. He struggled to even walk back, not because of a physical wound but of a mental one.

"I don't know, and that's bad," Hinata said, looking around."
"Now is not the time for taking off on your own."
