The Soul Labyrinth

Hinata looked at Cronos.
"Tatsuo… do you have him?"

“Apparently, Tatsuo’s soul marble isn’t with Connor” Cronos answered. “But don’t worry, it wasn’t with the first six Knights, that’s for sure. But it could be on anyone among the remaining six…” Cronos said.

Hinata sagged with relief.

“Well…the remaining five since I looked through Connor already” Cronos added.

"I'm just trying to help her out," Seth jerked a thumb at Hinata.

Katsuo calmed down, relieving the migraine.
"So, what do we do now?"

(Also: Hinata is suspicious of Cronos, but she doesn't let it show)

“Since I trust the two of you…I’ll give you both a tour of the library” Cronos insisted.

Hinata wasn't sure why, but she didn't exactly trust Cronos. Either way, he was her best shot at getting Tatsuo back.

(I kinda grouped the Knights into three groups; which are reasonable, maybe? and unable to reason with. Reasonable : Aisen, Carlsen, Cronos, Joseph…Maybe? : Nathan, Steven, Lachlan, Oliver… Nope way no : Rainer, Damien, Asher, Connor… so yeah , the more you know)

(Hinata is suspicious of everyone, just brush it off Cronos)

Cronos took the two of them into the inner most room of the library, The Past. His staff gave them some lighting.

Hinata looked around.
"Cool, a mirror."

Cronos stood in front of the mirror, the image reflected was him in a royal uniform with a crown on and a staff in his hand. The mirror didn’t reflect Hinata’s nor did it reflect Seth’s image.

"Woah. Neat. Is this, like, the past you, or something?"

“…the better me” Cronos said with a slightly disappointed voice.

Tolkalee was drifting in and out of consciousness by this point. His breathing was raged and everything hurt. He wasn't losing a huge amount of blood because he still had all the weapons in him. But he'd been here too long. Seth better hurry up, he thought to himself. Rather annoyed by how long it was taking.

"Oh." Hinata studied the reflect.
"Is that… him?" She was referring to Cronus.

On the other hand, all the other Knights were at The Harvesting Chamber…except one…? Sounds of footsteps can be heard walking towards Tolkalee…”Oh…you’re still alive” Knight K (Connor) walked into the room Tolkalee was in with a grin on his face.

“…yes…my true self…the one I used to be…” Cronos explained.

"How did you…" Hinata trailed off, unsure to if the subject was touchy or not.

FAN FREAKING TASTIC! Tolkalee hated everything right now. "Nope, I'm dead, can't you see how dead I am?" He was beyond annoyed by this point.

Cronos smiled. “Don’t worry, it was just getting uncrowned…they found a ruler more worthy of the crown than me. I ended up here thanks to a group of guards I once walked with…” he explained and paused there.

Connor kneeled down. “Stop being silly. I’m just here to get my blades…” he said at he pointed his conductor’s baton upwards, pulling all the blades out of Tolkalee’s body. The wounds are now open and blood was flooding out. “Survive for another hour or so, good luck~” Connor sent him a wave and a sadistic smile.

Tolkalee didn't manage to stop himself from screaming in agony when the blades were ripped from his body. The scream echoed around them. Tolkalee passed out, while blood pooled around him.

When Knight K walked out, through the other door, another Knight walked into the room to see Tolkalee’s motionless body. The other Knight kneeled down beside Tolkalee and touched his body. Within a minute after the Knight touched Tolkalee’s body, the wounds and cuts all closed thanks to the Knight’s energy transfer.

“You should wake up soon…” The other Knight said to himself while looking at Tolkalee.

Seth's head shot up, he'd heard the scream. "That was Tolkalee," he said. He began backing towards the door. "I have to go check on him," and with that he raced out the door.

Cronos’ staff stopped emitting light. “We should leave as well…” he told Hinata.
