The Soul Labyrinth

The Knight looked slightly confused. “Cassius? Well, I don’t know where he is now, but last time I saw him near the Clock Tower” he answered.

Tolkalee shook his head. "I'm not sure, it could be something here, or it could be something at home. Either way I've got a bad feeling again."

Aisen nodded, hearing what Tolkalee said. He looked at Cassius and Matthew who just came back form the portal hall. “Oh hey, so soon?” Aisen asked his brother.

Tolkalee gave a nod of greeting to the two that had just come in. "Welcome to the party, though you just missed the last show."

“Got another kill?” Cassius asked them while tilting his head.

"Two more actually," Tolkalee explained. "Feathers here, took out one, while Aisen and I took out the other."

Cassius and Matthew looked at each other and giggled slightly. “Great job guys” Cassius said to them. “Well, the whole Portal Hall is deactivated so…that means Edge is still alive so that’s good…the Clock Tower is still ticking so Cronos is also alive” Cassius said to Aisen, Desmond and Matthew.

"Well, bad news, there are more than we previously thought there were," Tolkalee explained. "And we need to keep as many people alive as we can, so we have a higher chance of winning."

Cassius sighed. “The Corrupted Reincarnations right? We met one on our way here but…” He looked at Matthew. Matthew took out an artifact that reads Chemical Combustion. “Is that…Asher’s?” Aisen asked. “Yep, mister Chemist himself” Cassius answered as he crossed his arms.

(Uh…did you mean the other Knight? Edge’s already gone, though he’ll be back with you guys soon)

Tolkalee walked over to a window and looked out. He was being careful not to stand to exposed, he was in a position where he was somewhat visible from outside. "We'll probably want to head out and look for the other knights if we want to keep everyone alive."

Sounds of footsteps can be heard coming from downstairs in where Tolkalee was. The footsteps walked for a little then stopped, then walked again and repeated that sequence.

(You guys could walk to the Clock Tower, since the Knight told you that Cassius was last seen there by him)

Tolkalee glanced around hearing the foot steps. He tightened his grip on his sword, and got ready to attack if need be. "Uh, guys do you hear that?" he asked still looking around.

Aisen, Matthew and Desmond all got into their fighting stance. Cassius…uh…he doesn’t have a fighting stance. “Yeah, of course we do…” Matthew whispered to Tolkalee. “I’ll go check it out…if I start attacking, you guys follow” Matthew said to the group as he walked downstairs.

"Be careful," Tolkalee warned.

(Don't you dare kill Matthew!!!!)

(Evil Laughter, of course I won’t. He needs to be alive for other situations to happen :P)

Matthew stepped to the point where the figure was visible. “Oh, Royce! You’re still alive!” Matthew was surprised. “Oh, Hello there Matty!” the figure replied in an excited tone. Matthew called to the others to come out as it’s safe.

Tolkalee relaxed a bit, before tensing up again. "I'm starting to get worried," he said. "Normally we would have been attacked by now, so where are they?"

Matthew and the newcomer both laughed slightly. “You worry a little too much, relax a little” Matthew said to Tolkalee. “Said the person who came to me with a staff at hand” the newcomer jokingly said to Matthew. “I’m Royce Marine, host of Water Vortex and ‘animal lover’ like Matthew here” the newcomer introduced himself as a blue feline with silver, dream-like eyes crawled up from the person’s uniform.

Tolkalee gave a slightly forced smile. "Apologizes, I grew up surrounded by war, so I tend to be a bit paranoid when in situations like this. My name's Tolkalee," he introduced himself.

“Well nice to meet you, even in this situation…” Royce said ruefully. “Anyways uh, if someone comes in again, it’s probably Arthur or Luis, I passed by them and invited them here so…just be aware of that” he said to the group. He grabbed his cat who was licking him by his neck. “This is Aqua…my master in command to say the least” he held one of the cat’s hands up and waved it slightly. He then released Aqua and let them play with Matthew’s pets.

"Well I don't know about Luis, I invited him earlier as well, and he said no," Tolkalee explained, he glanced back behind them. And scanned the room, just be sure no one uninvited came in.

Royce gave a whatever kind of face as he shrugged. “Oh yeah, uh, Cassius…I need your help” Royce requested Cassius. “What kind of help?” Cassius asked back as Royce showed them the cuts on his chest. “That damn hunter with a staff got me quite good…” Royce complained.

"Well, I'm gonna continue being my paranoid self, and go make sure everything's okay up stairs," Tolkalee waved walking up the stairs. He spun his sword lazily as he went.

As Tolkalee walked upstairs, another figure can be seen standing there, looking at the walls of the hall.

Tolkalee spotted the figure and stopped. "Hello," he said in a half friendly half suspicious voice. "Who are you?" He adjusted his grip on his sword.

The half of the figure which Tolkalee saw first was normal but when the figure turned to face Tolkalee, their other half was messed up with veins and muscles where they aren’t supposed to be. Their body was like divided into two sections; his normal half and his messed up half. “The name’s Faith Lacost…” the figure answered Tolkalee.

Tolkalee suppressed a shudder. "Okay, Mr. Faith, are you on the Knights side or against them?"
