Another wave of pain sent, another blast dodged. This time, it was Haskel himself who attacked. Propelled by the larger demon, he threw a dagger, which struck the Dragon in the eye.
"Take your shot, girl." He said.
Welcome to shuri's new Fantasy RP. We'll wing it as we go!
With a grin, she zoomed with great speed to the distracted dragon which was roaring in fury. Her longsword began to shine with a blinding light as she pulsed her energy into it. Its blade made contact with the dragons neck and successfully dug through it's flesh. Despite the burning in her arms, Paige pushed through till the longsword reappeared on the other side of its neck. Splatters of its oozing black blood flew everywhere and she shot higher in attempt to dodge it. She did not want to see what its blood could do after what its breath did.
(oh heccin hello, I fell asleep)
Tsunami reared back as some of the dragon's blood splattered on the ground near her, and Riverpaw winced. They'd been hiding near the forest edge the whole time, Riverpaw having tried to go back home to warn her forest friends, but Tsunami kept saying they had to help. "We can't! Tsuna, d-don't you think they have it under control?" Riverpaw called over the loud sounds of the dragon and magic being blasted everywhere. Tsunami shook her head, then suddenly ducked down as a rather large flame hit a nearby tree, instantly turning it to ash. Riverpaw gasped, turning back to her companion, who barked up at the dragon. "Yeah, yeah, okay, fine!" Riverpaw jumped onto Tsunami's back, but they stayed in the cover of the trees as she lifted her bow, aimed, and shot the creature's leg as it flew past. It hissed and shook the arrow from it's skin before going right back to dodging and attacking the others. "C-come on. This is still a bad idea." Riverpaw said to Tsunami, and the wolf jumped out from their cover.
(Despite its head kinda being severed let's keep the battle going since it's getting really fun and not everyone has had a shot at using what they have against the dragon. The dragon can grow two heads or something interesting. Idk, let's do whatever you all want to do?)
((Sorry I was pulled away what'd I miss?))
Tyson put the last civilian safely away from the battle. "Make sure you stay away." When he had seen the dragon gather it's breath to melt the building, he had flown down as fast as he could but didn't get there in time. He had helped the villagers escape the building. Now he flew back to the dragon, shooting out bolts of purple energy.
The monster flailed in the sky, it's head growing back.
"Of course you couldn't kill a monster like that by decapitation." Haskel said to himself.
"Can't you just stay dead!" Paige yelled at the stupid monster as she flew higher into the sky to calmly figure what to do now. Head goes two more come, what if he looses a limb? Or is it the classic pierce through the heart, or cut him down completely from the middle to the bottom? Or something else?? Why coudnt it stay dead, did it have to be so annoying
A scourge of demons of the land, air and sea came forth to attack the dragon, swarming it, managing to tear off enough scales to create a vulnerable spot, where, propelled again by the larger demon, Haskel struck by throwing his dagger. It was an artery, and blood spilled all over the ground, hissing and steaming as it creeped over the ground to try to attack them.
"So the blood can kill us too. Fantastic." Paige said to herself before swooping down and around the monsters deadly breath which continued to spew everywhere. The blonde boy had done a great deal of damage as it lowered slightly towards the ground in agony. She angled her longsword so that it tore the flesh across its left wing, leaving a slash running diagonally across it.
The gruesome dragon descent unsteadly with a deafening roar, sending rubble flying in all directions as it crashed into the ground next to the strange group of individuals. It's blood was spreading across the ground like a blanket, searching for anyone who was unfortunate enough to take its cover.
Reclaiming the dagger from earlier, he rushed the Dragon, making eye contact, trying to hypnotize it. He was successful for a few seconds. Just long enough to stick it with the dagger a few times. He slashed it's underbelly, drawing blood, and moving away before it fought his hypnosis off successfully.
Paige remained hovering above the ground as she branded the dragon's right wing with an identical cut to the left. At least now the dragon will stay down. The howls tore from the two heads of the dragon as its claws swung around, almost in desperation now. Twisting in the air, she backed away slightly to dodge the huge black claws that reached anything that came too close.
'How did the boy even manage to get a hit on the underbelly without being attacked by the dragons claws or tail', Paige puzzled in her head.
( I suppose we should wait till everyone gets to play around with the dragon)
(Yes.)
(Did I miss the show?)
Magnus sent a nice shower of heat towards to dragon burning it from the air.
The dragon roared with its two heads sending some disgusting breath towards him. Magnus flew away before going to the ground and jumping of "Return" Magnus called making his Phoenix disappear. He then tried sending flaming balls towards the dragon's eyes to make it blind temporarily but it managed to extinguish it by breathing out, the dragon then tried hitting Magnus with its black scaly tail sending a bit of its blood from slashes on the underbelly. Magnus barely managed to dodge when the tail hit him sending him flying. But not before Magnus burnt the underbelly making the lizard roar in pain and anger.
(oh hai)
Riverpaw held onto her bow tightly, summoning three arrows and tying rope to the ends of each as Tsunami ran towards the side of the dragon. She took aim and shot just above its tail. Once they struck the ground on the other side, she jumped off of Tsunami and the two of them pulled hard on the ropes, pinning the long appendage to the ground. She wasn't sure how long that would hold, but she hoped it would help a little. If she wasn't physically fighting the thing, she could at least help make the battle easier.
Paige nodded a thank you to the girl as the dragon was now restricted to move around. With a new opening now available, Paige slashed her glowing longsword across the dragons back in hope of damaging it's spine to further restrict it's movement.
Magnus headed towards the group of people trying hard to hold down his aggressive feeling towards the dragon.
"You… wolves!" Haskel called, stepping around the creeping blood, looking at the girl and White wolf. "Take these" He said, throwing a bundle of four runed arrows and throwing them to the wolf-girl, ducking from the dragon's range as it's wings went up to block an attack.
"Hello anybody got a plan?" Magnus asked cooly after an internal battle with two feelings, aggressiveness and cool minding.
"First maybe blonde boy should explain the arrows and what going on in his head because he seems to have an idea but we can't quite read his thoughts," Paige said glancing briefly at the others.
Riverpaw released the rope with one hand caught the arrows. She looked down and examined them for a moment. Ooh, haven't used material arrows in a while. A-and definitely not runed ones.
She looked at Tsunami, who was starting to struggle keeping the dragon's tail down, and she pulled harder, then looked around as the guy jumped away. "W-what do you want me to do with these?" She called.
"Shoot him!" Haskel said, weaving past the dragon's breath.
Riverpaw looked at Tsunami again, who gave her a firm nod but still held the ropes tightly between her teeth. Riverpaw let go and backed up, taking aim with two of the arrows, holding the other two in her mouth. She fired at the dragon's flank and leg, and both heads hissed as the arrows breached its scales. She moved over to it's front, dodging its wing and firing at each neck with an arrow.
"As long as you make contact, it doesn't matter, you've done your job." He affirmed.
"Can i do anything" Magnus asked with a feeling of revenge sitting in his mind. He wanted to beat the crap out of the dragon for all the tail hits it had done to him.
Riverpaw put her bow on her back and ran back over to Tsunami as the ropes finally lost their hold.
"I think I got him." Haskel muttered, before muttering an incantation. The dots where the wolf-girl It the Dragon flared up.
Paige landed gently onto the ground and tucked in her wings but did not make them disappear just yet, nor did she lower her sword. She watched as the arrows flared up, waiting patiently to see exactly what effect they had on the dragon.
