Kepler watches as she points out as to what was what and listened intently. Maybe later on I'll get one of these for myself. She waited for Brella to decided when she was going to let the ship go out before telling her where she was really going.
Destination: The Front (Fire and Ice)
Brella, wasting no more time, gunned the engine and and the ship began to rise. She rotated the thrusters, rushed fuel into the prep tanks, then opened them.
The ship shot into space, clearing the AA barrier within moments. Before long, the ship was in high orbit. But Brella didn't stop, instead continuing to push fuel until they could barely see the planet on any scanner or sensor.
She breathed a deep sigh of relief and fell back in her chair, exhausted.
Crisp is still just asleep on the floor. You hear him mumble something, but you can't tell anything he says.
Griffin watches over Kepler, making sure she doesn't try anything.
"So where are we headed?"
Brella turned to glare at Griffin, "Go put your friend in the crew quarters down below."
Her face had a sudden intensity to it, "Please. Don't complain, just do it."
"Sure," Griffin gently carries Crisp, and after wandering a bit, he found the crew quarters and set him down on one of the many beds.
Griffin returns to the cockpit and looks patiently at the stars. "Anything left to do besides wait?"
"We have a bit to talk about," responded Brella, looking at the assassin, "First off, I don't recall ever getting your name."
Crisp wakes up and goes upstairs.
"I fell asleep… sorry about that." You can see he found a hat, since he just has a hat on now. Who knows where he found it.
"Hm? Ah, my name's Griffin. Did Crisp not tell you?"
(I was talking to Keplar, lol….)
(lmao)
(also, for the hat that crisp now has for some reason, imagine any hat you want I guess, even a tiny top hat if you want.)
(oh, sorry xD)
Finally… Kepler muttered to herself, before relaxing in his chair. "So, y'all know how I said I was going to the coalition…" She trailed off before continuing. "Well, I lied, and I kinda need to get somewhere else."
"Hm? Where to?"
"Yeah, what Griffin said." Crisp sits on a chair, and gives the stranger a glare.
"Uhh, another planet, kinda?" She said in a questioning tone, hoping that they would redirect the ship.
"Which one? There's an infinite number of planets in this universe."
"…I know you something else in mind. You aren't one of us, are you?" Crisp stares more intensely.
"Well, I am an alien if that's what you're wondering." Kepler responded to the dragon unfazed. "And it's called Lektra."
"You did call her a traitor…" Griffin faces Kepler. "Then again, we don't really know you, do we now?"
"I'm calling the bullshit card on this one. You aren't on our side, are you?" Crisp pulls out his .45
"The bullshit card? Good lord, Crisp" Griffin sighs. "At least she isn't human"
"At least she ain't that." Crisp keeps .45 out, not aiming at Kepler, but just to be ready.
"Is that on the way to the Coalition front?" Brella asked, eyes narrowed, "And you still haven't told us your name."
"Yea, it's on the way to the front. It's not even that far from here. And I don't even know your names except for the dragon's." She said, ignoring Crisp's comments and looking to the Brella.
"Griffin" Griffin said without much thought, his elbows on his knees, his chin resting on the palms of his hands.
Crisp mutters "At least you aren't calling me a dinosaur." Crisp puts away the .45
(*aren't)
