I don't actually have a super well thought out idea for this…but basically one of the characters has been in cryogenic freeze for a very long time, and has been drifting in space. They are found by the second character, and shenanigans. The first character's existence is discovered by the government, and suddenly the two are on the run.

Classic sci fi with faster than light ships, laser guns/ray guns/whatever, that sort of thing. Idk, I just want sci fi lol. Would eventually become a romance between the two characters. I'm good with either BxG or BxB.

Rules:

  • andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply
  • There will probably be cussing
  • May get dark
  • If there's steamy stuff, we will either timeskip or take to PMs
  • I reserve the right to say no

Aaron became aware of three things, all at once. One, he was cold. Two, he couldn't move. Three…the ice was melting. He was waking up. The cryogenic tube was releasing him, letting him out. He fell to the ground as the tube opened, his body weak and shaky after spending so long in it. After spending so long drifting in space, only the tube keeping him from dying.

Nadia was basically falling asleep where she stood. There was, for once, almost nothing going on at the "SpaceBase", as she had dubbed the building when she was little. She was wandering around the building when she heard a sound suspiciously like somebody falling. It was coming from the room she wasn't allowed in, CF-128. Screw it, someone could be hurt. She opened the door and gasped. There, curled up on the floor, was a man. "Who are you?!" Nadia half-screamed, temper out of her grasp.

Aaron flinched at the shout, eyes narrowing. How is there a girl in here? He thought hazily. He pushed himself up, leaning forward on his hands as he looked up at the girl standing in the doorway. "Aaron…Davis." he forced out, throat dry, voice cracked and croaky. "Who are…you?" his brown hair hung into his face, and his body was wet and sticky from the cryofreeze fluid. He was wearing, luckily, loose black clothing, though it clung to his body with the fluid, leaving little to the imagination. Then again, he was still curled on the floor, so there wasn't much to see anyway.

Nadia took a few deep breaths, trying to regain composure. "My name is Nadia Shaed." Aaron Davis, She thought. Who the hell is Aaron Davis? "Okay, I'm going to go get towels or something to try to clean you up. I'll be right back." Nadia sprinted out of the door and down the hall to the bathroom. She grabbed a whole thing of paper toweling and ran back. "Here, can you move? Need any water or anything?"

Aaron sat up, blinking wearily and rubbing his eyes. "I'm…water would be great. Thanks." he replied slowly, shifting uncomfortably in the wet clothes. His hair stuck up a bit on top. His grey blue eyes were narrowed slightly, and he looked up at her. "Where am I?" he asked, voice cracking a little again. It wasn't cracking with emotion, or anything of the sort. It was cracking simply from disuse and lack of water.

"You're at the National Space and Aeronautics Administration's Louisville headquarters," Nadia spat out. "Or, as I've lovingly dubbed it, the Spacebase. I'll go get you that water, you sit tight, maybe try to stretch or something to loosen up your muscles? God knows how long you've been in that chamber."

Aaron nodded. NASA. He realized. They're still around? He grabbed onto the side of the pod, and used it to pull himself upright, taking a deep breath. Why did the pod open? "What year is it?" He asked slowly, leaning heavily on the pod still.

"2105, why?" Nadia looked slightly confused as she cracked open a water bottle. "Drink this. It's got an electrolyte blend in it, and it should help you regain a bit of strength." Nadia thought for a few moments. Wait, what year does he think it is?

He nodded, and drank it gratefully. "Thank you…" He trailed off, looking at her. "How…how do you have clearance for access?" He asked, straightening to stand on his own. "To this room? How do you have access?"

"This is the one room Dad never let me in," Nadia sighed. "My dad's the head honcho here. Michael J. Shaed. Big whoop. I made copies of all the keys years ago, this place gets rather boring pretty quick."

He nodded slowly. "Oh. Can you… introduce me to him, then? Soon? I need to figure out why I was brought out of cryofreeze." He looked at her carefully, reaching out a hand to touch the pod.

"Unless I would like my head as a decoration, I'm going to say no. My father can't know I was in here. I'd be done for, grounded for life, completely screwed over in every way." Nadia sighed. "Maybe, if all else fails, he'll come in and check before I get a chance to tell him. Hopefully."

Aaron frowned a little. "But…" he hesitated. "I need to speak with whoever is in charge. I should not be out of cryofreeze unless I am needed. Obviously you don't have any sort of clearance at all, so I need to speak with someone who does."
