Oh, but I could just think about the way these new advances in magic would sweep across the world just like Technology! But better… because Magic is a force outside our control, every new find would be truly revolutionary. Tech gets upgrades, magic gets new realms, planes of existence, methods of potion making and spell casting. Instead of applying silence to technology, all of our scientific methods would be applied to magic! It's really great!
