When I restart my town I cut down everything, lay down a path, and then plant everything back.

Same! Whenever someone is in the middle of my path, I will do anything to get them out of my town.

The worst is when they move in, and they’re really cool, but they aren’t in your path, but you can’t change it to make the path look natural, i guess????

Like, okay….. (try to) picture this.
You have a straight, two-sector wide path. Preferrably one going north-south direction.
Someone moves in, and is forced to remove part of the path, leaving only half of it the actual path.
So there’s just a weird indent in the path.
