Yo, I read the title and well… while I am christian, I kinda hate gospel music but I like some christian bands, mostly Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch. Those 2 bands are rock/alternative soft metal but their lyrics are christian and it's sincerely amazing, I even got 2 Skillet records recently :)
I don't think gospel music is inherently bad, since I'm not used to any other gospel songs except for 80s+90s brazilian gospel songs and oH GOD WHY I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE IT'S A SEVEN MINUTE SONG REPEATING 4 SENTENCES IN A SLOW PACE PLEASE STOP), so I'd accept some suggestions, specially if they fall under a rock, indie-rock, indie or indie-pop category! Maybe even lo-fi, or weirdcore, or hyperpop, idk.
I also saw somewhere that Family Force 5 was also christian but I only ever heard "Chainsaw", so I'm not sure about that xD
(P.S.: Edit: Twenty One Pilots also have (or at least had) many christian subtones to some albuns and songs, in particular Vessel. The song "Holding Onto You" is an absolute banger and very clearly christian, I absolutely highly totally completely obviously very much recommend)

@Wykie Family Force 5 is Christian, but some of their songs do sound secular. I really like them, if you do too, I recommend their song Walk on Water.
