Okay, so a club I'm in had a bake sale right? Okay, normal. Halloween, we were lucky to get it. So anyway, I'm working the bake sale with another girl in my grade, just us two. Said girl happens to be friends with my crush, who I can barely form coherent sentences around because I'm an awkward lovesick loser. So anyway, she's dealing with another student who wants to pay a lower price for a cupcake (Cupcakes were $2-handmade and decorated by the club, the SEGA club, we're partnered with the SEGA school in Africa and raise money for them to give girls an education they probably wouldn't get otherwise. It's a charity thing, so we did kinda over charge a bit, but all proceeds did go to the school.) , and of course, my crush decides to walk up at THAT EXACT MOMENT, meaning I have to tell her prices and hold some conversation. Also handled the transaction, hands brushed, pretty sure I was bright red, but no one mentioned (Or, hopefully but doubtfully, noticed) it. Thing is, since her friend was also working the bake sale, (the other student left a while ago, got a brownie instead), hung around and talked with her for a bit. I swear I thought she was looking at me (Also doubtful), but, me being me and failing at subtlety, kept glancing over at her, and I'm pretty sure it was painfully obvious. Again no one mentioned, so she either thinks I'm a creep or I just really liked her costume (she was Anger from Inside Out because the theme for Sophomores was cartoons and it was homemade, which was pretty cool.)
