13 is too young to experience heartbreak

I disagree

Might I have your reasoning?

Do you mean experiences, or like…? :)

13 is too young to experience heartbreak

I lost my great grandma at 11, I'm pretty sure that feeling was a mixture of depression, mourning, and heartbreak

That's terrible, and I'm very sorry, but furthers my point. No young kid should have to experience that and it's too much emotional toil for an emotionally under-developed person

Of course, it's not really a choice.

Why thirteen isn't too young to have to deal with heartbreak

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Ooooooh, I misread the question…

Well, first off, it's not really a choice. Things happen, people get upset and, well, experience heartbreak. Imagine spending your whole childhood happy and never knowing true sadness, then stepping out into the real world as an adult and facing it almost daily!

It's clearly not a choice, to hell with everything if heartbreak was a choice. but you also have a child who doesn't fully understand their everyday emotions, and when they have to deal with even more than that it causes damage. Plus heartbreak isn't the only sadness and exposure to the real world a kid can have, and yes heartbreak is apart of life but there's so much more to it

I think you just have to make sure they're well supported. May I ask why this whole thing started? :)

Yes

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Alright, I'll explain the Momo thing

There's this fear lately about the "Momo challenge", a hoax spread across different social media platforms about a non-existent internet challenge encouraging children to commit suicide or attack loved ones via clips of "Momo" hidden in YouTube videos. What is Momo?

This thing.

@Crisis

Wh at the feck is that

Also I'm still confused

It's an image that pops up in YouTube videos, especially ones targeted at kids, like Peppa Pig. It says, "I am Momo. I'll kill you. Slit your ankles and you won't see me, slit your wrists and your parents won't see me." It's responsible for the deaths of a few kids.
