(in case you're interested, i believe the best chariot from any form of under water people (f.x. merfolk) would be a few trained/domesticated sharks attached to harnesses with a pole trailing behind for the rider to hold onto. otherwise for short distance, a single messenger pigeon style sail fish, handles are on the harness itself.)
