OMG How could I forget?!?!?!
Witch and Wizard by James Patterson!!!! Amazing series! There are also some hilarious comic books about this series (but it didn't include the last 2 books T^T). A must-read!
Uhh well I mostly like fiction (fantasy, realistic, and sci-fi especially). The book I just read was called Good Omens by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman.
The Breadwinner by Deborah Ellis, very good and very touching
Daughters of Time by Mary Hoffman is so so good and very interesting
If you speak French, Le Pays Qui Te Ressemble by Fabrice Colin is amazing
The Help by Kathryn Stockett is AMAZING and has a VERY cool POV
Queenie by Jacqueline Wilson is very cute, a bit childish but worth a read (it's very quick)
Wonder by RJ Palacio is also very good, has interesting changes of POV
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is REALLY well written and has a very cool plot and mix of genres
Last but not least, I absolutely swear by The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, they're not popular with everyone but give them a chance

Reading level of a 4th grader??? Though I wouldn't recommend it to a 4th grader, Larry Correia's Monster Hunter International series is a nice blend of humor, supernatural, and action. Any of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series would be fine for all ages from what I can recall. I personally would recommend Going Postal or Making Money, both are wonderfully hilarious and books I read back in 3rd and 4th grade. Anything Discworld will be pretty intriguing, as the book series takes place in a world on the back of a giant flying turtle, upon which rests four elephants, and finally the world itself on the back of those four elephants.
Actually Discworld is more of an adults series, but finally I meet a fan!
The Starbound trilogy by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner is really really good. 10/10 recommend.
Same goes for the Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
