Other question: Do you possibly have anxiety or depression? Yeah, parents just don't understand these days. Have you tried telling another relative about your situation?

I did try talking to my grandma……. It back fired on me.

Well, then I'd try talking to your mom. Tell her you are in the best place, and you might need help. Try to be specific on why you are upset, or else she might think “you're going through a 'phase'” (which is just stupid (the 'phase' cliche)), but don't let that worry stop you from talking to her.
