It really depends on the personality of your character though. Justice? Romance? Curiosity? Revenge? Genuinely it only depends on the personality of the character.
It also depends on their situation. Is she fighting to stay alive? Is she trying to get into a good college?

Yeah I think the survival motivation sounds good. The story is about these people who are trying to survive in this alienated world so that would make perfect sense. Thanks so much!
