@"Oakie Dokie" dude you're so lucky. I'm 16 and my parents won't let me go to things like that so I can't wait until I get out of the house and get my own job.

@Oakie Dokie

i mean im only 15 i just work to help pay for my dream college

@"Oakie Dokie" my parents won't let me get a licence because they think I'm not responsible enough. They also won't let me study at an art program because, again, not responsible enough. I honestly wish I could get a job, but because I don't have a licence, I can't go anywhere (I live in the middle of nowhere)

@Oakie Dokie

ah that was my problem too until they kicked me out so i lived with my great gpa and ended up taking care of him after he fell and broke his hip, that's when they were like "oh oof dis dude has responsibleness" or whatever

@"Oakie Dokie" Even if I got kicked out of the house and kept up straight As while taking care of twelve healthy animals and having a full time job they would still think I'm irresponsible XD

@GG

@Jensenbear I feel omg…..also Words Fail the part where it goes "what if everyone saw what if everyone knew? would they like what they saw or would they hate it too" that right there. I cry

AHAHHAHHAHAHHAHHAHA

elle.rose

unpopular opinion- I think the instrumentals are quite repetitive and only two songs (Sincerely Me and Good For You) really seem to stand out to me amongst the rest of the coountry-pop-ish sounding songs on the track.

@Oakie Dokie

i have broken everyone mwahaha

@elle.rose I don't think it sounds country at all? It's just that the tempo stays relatively the same and there's a lot of piano.

Also the song good for you makes me want to cry

@basil_

@"jensenbear"
it makes me cry because its his mom and his only friends singing it

elle.rose

@Jensenbear sorry, country was the wrong way to describe it, I kind of just meant pop. But I think the reason it doesn't sit well with me is because I like albums and musicals that play around with themes and genres of music- two relatively modern musicals that do this excellently in my opinion would be Falsettos and Be More Chill (Falsettos reboot had new instrumentals from the og show), and even the spongebob musical a bit.

@Oakie Dokie

i think it was supposed to be more of an acoustic deal with folk/country/pop/bluegrass influences, if that makes sense ^-^ I live in North Carolina, the breeding ground for this type of music, so I guess it just sounds different to different people

@basil_

i think the reason i love DEH so much is that it's more like an album of music, but with a plot
it's not really typical broadway music
and that's also why hamilton is my soul

@elle.rose I see what you're saying now. And yeah, it doesn't really introduce very many different types of music, but I think the vocals is what they're really focusing on here.

@basil_
