So, I love to debate! I'm going to post a topic in a bit and do some research! Then… Debate time!
Debate About Plastic Bags!
Nyelloq
…What?
I meant nyello
The q came out of nowhere
Heh! Nyelloq
I have a topic: Canada was never real, I found that out from a narwhal secretly surfing on the planet Russia
Also, the C A R R O T F B I is watching us all
Ah, we're going to try and keep this realistic.
It's not your topic to choose though. (Nutella)
just ignore my terrible excuse for a sense of humor
So I have a more realistic/ serious topic:
"Should plastic bags be banned?"
And a few more laughter-inducing ones:
Which of these two are more real – pirates or ninjas?
Do vampires get AIDS from sucking blood that is affected?
Is there life after death?
Are we aliens of some sort?
Probably not, but give me some reasons for.
Pirates. (As much as I hate to admit it.)
Yes.
Yes.
To others, of course.
What one should we use though?
First.
Okay!
DEBATE TOPIC: "Should plastic bags be banned?"
Perhaps change the title?
I'll say the should stay because I don't know enough to take the other side.
Btw, GSM? You Lex?
Hm? Sorry, what does GSM mean?
DEBATE TOPIC: "Should plastic bags be banned?"
Not yet, but I think stores should begin making them unavailable and only offer reuseable bags and charge you if you don’t bring your own
Hm? Sorry, what does GSM mean?
Your username initials
Btw, GSM? You Lex?
Hm, oh, yes I am.
I think that we should use them less and charge for them to encourage using recyclable or reusable bags. I know that people use plastic bags for a lot of things almost every day, but banning them altogether won't really solve it all.
But why ban in the first place?
Well, plastic bags pollute the earth we live on. Some people are careless and don't properly throw their garbage away and sometimes it's an accident and the plastic bag gets caught in the wind. Point is that it can get to animals and potentially kill them and pollute their water and homes and the earth. Not to mention that they are made from non-renewable resources and take millions of years to degrade. Pretty sure that they don't actually degrade completely if they're petroleum based.
Slightly off topic, but this reminds me of one use plastic straws. What do you think of that?
I think I'm going to bow out on this one since I am not very informed on the subject.
You should research it, it's actually a huge problem and needs to be talked about way more.
I'll at least monitor this conversation for starters.
