As older teenagers and adults, we realize that Bob was in the right with his decision, as Larry didn't need the hairbrush since he was bald and couldn't grow hair, but the Peach, a loyal employee of the IRS, needed it for himself. Bob, while acting a bit rashly, provided a government worker with a necessary provision that his companion did not need to own, for it was useless for him.
Although the question of why they need brushes (as they have no hands) is another one entirely.

Um how dare you. Barbra Manatee is a beautiful story of unrequited love. Bill won't take her to the ball. Larry wants to. But alas! He can not. Plus, tell me you've never had a crush on a fictional character. And Larry's whole voice is pitchy. It's not just this song.
