Depresso Espresso

You sit down at a table facing the window. What do you order?
(Yes this is kind of an RP/conversation thing)

We Have A Lot. We're A Cafe, After All.

I grab a smoothie, a strawberry and banana one. "Thank you." I would say to the person who got me a drink. "May I also get a jam tart?" I would ask quietly.

Your server nods. The name on his tag says "Graye" in elegant cursive.

"Thanks." I would mutter, quickly putting the straw of my smoothie in my mouth before I said something embarrassing.

He flicks you a smile, nodding. "No problem. anything else I can get you?"

"Is there free wifi here? I need to work on an assignment…" I asked before trailing off, I didn't want to come off as rude.

"Oh. Yeah- Just- Just A Moment-" His face colored a soft pink in embarrassment as he looked for the wifi password.

"Thank you," I said softly, my fingers fiddling with the oversized sleeves of my sweater. I truly hope he doesn't find me rude…

"Anything For A Gem Like You." He said, then blushed in embarrassment. Wow, that was really bad. I hope she's not weirded out.

He probably thinks I'm a gal… I choked on my drink for a moment. "I'm aromantic but, if I'm a gem then you're a jewel." I retorted, I may be aro but boy did I enjoy flirting.

He shifted, not wanting to leave but too embarrassed to stay.

"Nah, not a jewel. You're a whole cave filled with them." I continued, making some finger guns.

He burst into giggles, his face lighting up.

He finger gunned him??? back, smiling shyly.

"Ayyyye." I said with a cheer, also giving a little chuckle.

He paused. "Uhm. Do you mind if I sit with you..?"

"Not at all, I'm still going to work on my assignment so you'll have half my attention." I warned him, moving my gender queer ass over.

He nodded, sitting. He then shifted uncomfortably.

I noticed this, sipping my smoothie before asking. "Are you okay?"

He nodded again.

Graye Stood. "I Should Get Back To Work."

I gave a hum. "You do you." I muttered, my eyes focused on my laptop.

He Stood, His Back Turned Towards The Customer As He Stepped Back Behind The Counter. He Smoothed Down His Hair With One Hand.
