start with "did i tell you the story…" then say the short summary of an outlandish story, (fx. did i tell you the story about how i set my hand on fire? did i tell you the story of how i threw my mother down a hole of unknown depths?)
there's always room for exaggeration wink wink, as long as it's a real story. (game stories count too, sometimes it's funnier if they don't sound like games. fx. did i tell you the story about how i married my best friend, divorced her, and then our lawyer died so we got back together? did i tell you the story about when the french guy gave up and sold me EVERYTHING in the name of chaos?)
