Don't we have oxygen in our bodies?

Yeah, blood get’s oxygenated inside your body too

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

Yeah, but most veins carry the deoxygenated blood to your heart instead of the oxygenated blood.

So we have red and purple blood?

no it's all red. Purple is a myth

@WriteOutofTime

No, blood is red. It can be darker red, but it's not purple

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

Yeah, depending on wether its from veins or arteries. (Arteries are the oxygenated blood that is carried to all parts of the body)

I tend to associate personalities with many different things, and sound to colors. I like art a lot and have actually painted a few songs before as well.

I haven't actually been diagnosed with it though.

I haven't either

@LeafyLemur

Oof

I thought I was alone giving inanimate objects personalities.

Also, math is red.

@mckapo

I've always found synesthesia so interesting.
following this just to hear people's experiences
is it mostly associating words/numbers with colors? what about the other senses? does synesthesia affect touch/auditory/taste/smell as well?

I kind of feel like social studies feels like dry, cracked ground that is yellow. That may sound weird

@ravens

mine is weird. like, I don't see colored letters, I just associate them with colors. also, (this is going to sound really weird) words are shaped like their meaning, kind of? and some words have certain colors/color combinations. I dunno. it's absolute hell to explain my synesthesia

@ravens

a=red b=blue c=yellow d=green e=undecided f=also undecided g=tbd h=pale yellow i=white j=turquoise with green spots k=tbd l=mint green m=really deep blue-purple n=brown??? o=tbd p=purple or pink, depends on the word q=red, but more of an invisible red if that makes any sense r=red s=pink t=red-orange u=gray v=dull green w=brown, I think x=gray z=yellow

Also on the Marvel fandom side of things I feel that the name Loki has always reminded me of the sound of clinking wooden beads

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

I'll just list the first handful of letter cause I haven't thought of the others. a- red b- blueish purple c- yellow d- brown e- beige f- green g- undecided h- purple

a=red b=blue c=yellow d=green e=undecided f=also undecided g=tbd h=pale yellow i=white j=turquoise with green spots k=tbd l=mint green m=really deep blue-purple n=brown??? o=tbd p=purple or pink, depends on the word q=red, but more of an invisible red if that makes any sense r=red s=pink t=red-orange u=gray v=dull green w=brown, I think x=gray z=yellow
